I stayed at Hotel JAL City Haneda for one night after arriving late at night, and it was a very comfortable and convenient choice. The airport shuttle bus made getting to and from Haneda Airport extremely easy, which was a big plus after a long flight. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was a good size by Japanese standards; very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Overall, a smooth and pleasant short stay, and I’d happily stay here again for transit or early flights.

Overall is good but surcharge for early made us down. As an airport hotel, guests flying from all around the world with different arrival times, airport hotel should be more considerate to those who arrived early or leaving late. You have to wait exactly until 3pm or you will be charged otherwise, even rooms are available.

Convenient location to Haneda if you’re arriving before catching a connecting flight or train/leaving soon. Check the airport shuttle schedule, as it leaves Terminal 1 every half hour (we had to catch airport shuttle from T3). Good breakfast. Pretty quiet, no airport noise. Friendly staff. Good value. The deluxe double was good for American standards. But only one smaller pillow and firm bed was a little uncomfortable esp after a long flight. Bathtub design encourages mildew. Lotion and free water would have been nice. Hallways and room showing wear and tear. Needs renovating.
