We paid $40 for a 2 hour late check out so our toddlers could nap before we left. Housekeeping knocked on the door twice during that time period, even after I answered the first time and told them we had a late check out. The blanket for our bed was dirty and had black stuff all over it. The breakfast was very mediocre and they couldn't seem to keep anything stocked. The pool area was also very cold, so it was unpleasant to swim, though the kids still had fun with the kid pool area. Conveniently located next to MOA.

The hotel was nice enough but the pool area was overrun with kids and no adult supervision. There were at least 20 kids in hot tub jumping in and splashing while others were trying to relax. One kid kept holding another kid under water. I had to intervene since no other adults seemed to be. We did hear later that there was a birthday party that had several more kids than they were supposed to but we had given up on enjoying the hot tub at that point.

The rooms could be cleaner. We stayed in a room with a sofa bed and the foldable mattress was dirty and you could feel every single spring. The pool area was really nice but the temperature of the room and water was too cold. Normally the pool area tends to be warmer in most hotels but in this case it was the opposite and other families I met there agreed. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was decent.

Close to Mall of America and our room was clean. The hot tub wasn’t super warm and looked dirty-ish. I asked for extra towels twice and none were delivered. It was super loud in the hallways. Free breakfast was decent. I would stay again since it is budget friendly but definitely not a first choice.

The hotel is old and outdated. Check-in time was inconsistent. The heat in our room and pool area did not work. We ended up getting a new room which was a downgrade. Our new room was fine. Paint was chipping. We took advantage of the shuttle bus to go to the Mall of America. I do NOT reccomend it. It took over 45 min for it to pick us up. If you have a car, just drive. Parking is free at the mall. Breakfast was not good. Few options. The staff was nice but it appeared they were short staffed.

Our room was so cold! The pool area was cold and out of towels. We had to wear our jackets in our room. The thermostat wouldn't turn higher than 67 degrees. I went to the desk and was told I couldn't get extra blankets because it was thanksgiving. My grandbabies were shivering when they got out of the pool. We have stayed here several times. Never again

This hotel was okay for the price. Room was clean but our room had a pull out sofa, they did not provide sheets and the matress was stained, we called and went to front desk and were told someone would bring them, but never did, so our family of 6 had to pile into the 2 beds. The pool area was very cold, the water temperature was okay, but due to the cold air my 2 year old was shaking in a matter of minutes and had to be taken back to the room. On both Friday and Saturday they ran out of towels in the pool area and I never saw staff replenishing them. They require a wristband for the pool area but dont have staff to enforce it, so there were a lot of people there without wristbands. Many people swimming did not have swimming clothing, lots of little girls in bras and panties or tank tops. The hot tub water became cloudy. The free breakfast was one of the worst hotel breakfasts Ive seen, items frequently ran out and they were slow to replace them, not a lot of options for kids, and no water for drinking in the breakfast area. The location is nice for accessing the MOA and local restaurants, there was plenty of parking and the check in and out process was smooth. Overall not bad for the price despite the noted issues.
