Right by the seaside, walking distance to a really cool shrine on a peninsular in the ocean. 2 restaurants and an onsen run by the hotel. Good quiet location with a very charming Oceanside vibe. Free parking available.
The location is splendid and the staff are very friendly! The Hawaiian guy is super nice and let us drop off our bags prior to check-in which was very much appreciated. Our room, which was very clean and comfortable, had an ocean view and had all the amenities we could want! We didn’t get to try the restaurants beside this property, but that’s something we’d like to do next time. :)
We arrived quite late, and met by a lovely Hawaiian gentleman who checked us in. The service was great, he explained everything to us in detail, and made a phone call for us as we had left something at the previous accommodation.
We had a great dorm room facing the ocean on ground floor, and lucky to have the space to ourselves in a two-bunk female dorm room. Room was small, but very clean and sufficient for our purposes. The place seems quite new. We did not have time to use the spa.
It’s an amazing place to stay to unwind. Feels like a small surfertown and the hostel has conveniently an Onsen (¥540,- per day). Mattresses in the dormitory are a bit uncomfortable hard to sleep on however. Grocery store is also conveniently within walking distance and it’s a busstop on the road to some popular sights like Udo Jingū and Sun Messe. Keep in mind though, in the evening there isn’t too much to do. But that’s the place to be for some peace and quiet time. Great beach for Surfers. Very nice place overall!
Very happy we chose Aoshima Fishermans. The staff were always polite and very helpful. It is close to the station, food supplies, and on the seaside, where you can do lovely long walks. The room was very clean.
Nice staff. Room was small but enough.
I booked for 2 nights, However I moved to other hotel on second day. Because I saw some tiny creature that jumps in my pillow on the bed during the first night!! It was not a bed bug but looked like a flea. I could not sleep at all. So I will not recommend this to others.
All bed frames are made with woods and a room is not good for sunlight to come inside.
They have a kitchen and refridgerator. But Not possible for actual cooking. Because there were not any pots, cooking tools, or microwaves.
I normally don't stay at hostels, but this one was right on the beach. They were able to hold my bag until check-in. The bathroom and room (one bed in the women's dorm) was really clean. Shower pressure was great. The bed was typical in terms of comfort. I didn't use the onsen, but I did receive a free towel at check in.
Beautiful location right on the beach. Room had a direct view of the beach. Plenty of room for 3 or four people in a twin bunk room. Two restaurants on property. The Italian restaurant was excellent and the staff was amazing. The Japanese restaurant food was very good but staff could have been more friendly. The hotel staff was simply incredible!! I cant say thank you enough! The really went out of their way to assist us with all our requests and made us feel so welcome. I would not hesitate to book here again or recommend it to family and friends.
Spotless, friendly staff, perfectly beautiful location on the beach. Easy walking, safe environment, multiple food venues. Air conditioner worked extremely well...a must in August!
