Pack Creek ~ Lodge Suite

The Lodge at Pack Creek is truly a diamond in the rough. Recently renovated with modern amenities.  Let the views and surrounding area of Pack Creek Ranch engulf you with its beauty, fresh air, seclusion, and desert meets mountain charm. The massive back patio overlooking the creek and La Sal mountains will blow you away.

This spacious 2.5  bedroom, 2 bathroom modern cabin sleeps up to 9 people.  There is a King bed in one room, and 2 queen murphy beds in the other room.  (Please be careful opening and closing the murphy beds.)  There is a small room with a twin bed near the kitchen (the reason for the 2.5 bedrooms).  Additionally, there are two brand new mattresses in the Master bedroom closet you can toss out in the main room or better yet out on the patio for fresh air.  There is plenty of bedding/pillows for your stay.

There are two full bathrooms.  One with a nice shower and a bathtub and bidet toilet, and the other with an Instagram worthy shower, top of the line bidet toilet and a beer keg urinal!

The Lodge is all about comfort, space and entertaining.  The open floor plan begs guests to congregate in the main room next to a big fireplace and 60” TV with a bar table and chairs for company.  Or just settle into the large couch and chairs and find a great book in the expansive library.  No matter the time of the year, guests are drawn to the back patio where the views are truly magical.  The hummingbirds and wildlife will keep you mesmerized all day and the stars and sunsets will keep you out till dark. The massive back patio is great for a sunrise coffee, a mid-day siesta or evening barbeque and drinks with your friends.

The Lodge is a pet friendly property.  (2 dogs or cats maximum per stay - additional fees incurred).

You can’t get a better location than this, located about 20 minutes from downtown Moab, you get peace and quiet without being far from the shops and restaurants in downtown Moab.

Take a dip in Pack Creek’s large swimming pool that has 360-degree views (traditionally open Memorial day until Labor Day but subject to change) will help you cool off in summer and fall. There is also a communal/shared hot tub and sauna for you to relax in after a long day of hiking, just a short walk from The Lodge cabin itself. The Pack Creek runs right behind the cabin. You are close to trails, mountains and a whole bunch of wildlife.

The kitchen has all the appliances you would need to cook a meal for your family, including an automatic coffee maker and a microwave oven.

There are brand new TVs in all the rooms connected up to your favorite apps.  YouTube/YouTubeTV/Disney and all the rest.   Wifi is great and many quests work from the Lodge without disruption.   Cell reception is a little dodgy out at Pack Creek, but at least you will be able to remain connected to the world if you choose to be!

Looking to bring your pet with you on vacation? We’d love to you in this pet friendly property (pet fees apply, some exclusions apply). There will be a $20 per night per pet fee. Several properties have a limitation on the number and type of pets. Please inquire for any pets other than dogs and for any number above 2 pets. Pets are never allowed without a correct pet fee and proper approval. Your rental agreement will reflect that no pets are allowed if you have not paid a pet fee, even if you have reserved a pet friendly unit. We will need to have a credit card on file for any reservations with a pet. If a pet fee is not reflected in the charges at checkout, please be aware that our reservations team will add that cost ($20/night/pet) to the reservation before you are charged. In listing or mentioning a pet on your reservation, you are authorizing Moab Lodging Vacation Rentals to charge this pet fee. Take a look at the 3D walk through. Absolutely perfect in every way!
The Pack Creek Lodge was off the beaten path but close to town and Arches National Park. The home was spacious, immaculate and very comfortably furnished. The setting was amazing; forest, fields, mountains and a stream, we even saw wild turkeys. The big porch had lovely fireplace table, soft breezes and the night sky was incredible !! The host is an excellent communicator and we are already planning our next trip back! One of the best all around VRBOs we have stayed in! Worked beautifully with our 2 pups also!

Great location, great space
Myself, my husband, 5 sons and my parents all stayed. It’s a bit of a drive from town but we loved that about the location. Away from all the crowds and craziness. My boys loved being near and in the creek. It was nice to have some seclusion. The lodge is unique and rustic. It was a great accommodation for us.

Ahhhhmazing!
What a great place to spend time with friends at the end of long days exploring the beauty of the area. Friends rented the other smaller cabins and we used the Lodge to enjoy dinner and down time together as a group. The Mountain View’s are amazing. Cabin was clean and after we learned our way around the place it was great!!!! We will be back!

I would stay here again. If you are looking for a property that feels like it was woven into the fabric of the landscape this would be it. You can tell it holds a rich history of the area matched with modern day conveniences. It is out of town so set your alarm for 2-3 am, get up and go outside to see the stars. No light pollution to skew you beautiful site. Cheers!

Great cabin feel
Large place to accommodate a big group, just not the best for sleeping big groups unless they’re good with the cots n couch! Overall would stay here again.

Place was awesome. Easy to get to Moab and other surrounding areas!
Fantastic little village. There was a recent fire on the land so it will take some time (not too long) to bloom back but all in all was a great spot. I can't wait to see what it looks like in a few months for the green to pop back. So lucky for everyones safety when that happened. Easy to get there and east to get around from there! We will be back to enjoy even more adventurous outlooks that Moab has to provide!!

The Lodge was all we could hope for and more!
We loved everything about this place. My fiancé said it’sa cross between a cabin, farmhouse and museum. I think you could stay there a month and discover new things. The backdrop of the La Sal mountains was incredible. We’re already talking about going back next year!

Great location, unique home
I love the history associated with this home! It is roomy, comfortable, and clean. The back porch is amazing. Especially in the time of Covid I loved being outside of town, but all that Moab has to offer is still easily accessible. The pool was cold and refreshing, yet never crowded. The other vacationers we met at Pack Creek were friendly and gracious. Overall, just what my wary soul needed.

Beautiful location, large cabin
The scenery and location of this property were beautiful. I loved the goats :) Out of town, but not too far-- a good 20 minute drive. The Lodge was enormous and had great amenities. The bed was comfortable. And the back patio was great! The ranch pool was not very clean, but I used it nonetheless and it was very refreshing. Had some problems with the TV/network. It worked better in the bedroom than in the living room. Wi-Fi worked very well. I did not receive any communication prior to the day or two before my stay. I would have appreciated an, "We will be in touch on such and such a date about the check-in process..." upon booking. The wrong cabin number/address was listed on the check-in info, so that took some figuring out when I arrived, but no big deal. I arrived early, and the manager was cool with that. I would definitely stay again! Well worth the money.

What a unique experience! The lodge feels like it should accommodate 12 or more people, but it’s all yours. The wood burning fireplaces and bathtub were sweet luxury after winter hiking. Ignore your phone (it’s not gonna work anyway) and enjoy the beautiful space.

A Treasure
The Pack Creek Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It is an easy 15 minute drive outside of downtown Moab. It is quiet, relaxing and the perfect place to getaway for a few days. My husband, our dog and I enjoyed the spacious Lodge Suite. The renovated bathroom with soaker tub is lovely and the bed is very comfortable. We relaxed by the fireplace each night after exploring the beautiful area. The suite is well stocked with everything you need. We love Moab and we will definitely come back to the Lodge!

Quiet and relaxing suite nestled in the hills.
This is a nice suite next to the lodge. It was secluded and quiet, away from the traffic and 4x4 activity. The layout is a little odd, but there was only two of us so it worked out fine. The bathroom and tub are very nice and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Found the place ok, but didn't know which of the 5 doors to use to get in when we got there. There was no door keypad to get in, but we figured it out eventually. The first night we were able to watch TV, but it lost signal after that and we weren't able to watch anymore. Thankfully the internet worked and we were able to watch movies online. We never did see the pool, hot tub or sauna anywhere on the property. Overall it was a nice stay and we will return. Thanks

We absolutely loved staying in the Lodge cabin. This is exactly what we look for in a cabin rental. The setting is peaceful and just beautiful. The cabin is very clean, well kept and well equipped. So comfortable and relaxing. Just what we needed as a getaway to celebrate our 43rd anniversary! Saw wonderful scenery, and sunsets from the front porch. Our dog loved his walks on the beautiful spacious grounds and his visits with the baby goats in the pasture beside our cabin. We even saw a wild turkey by our front porch in the morning. The large back patio was great for relaxing with our morning coffee before we headed for the National Parks. Location is great for both Moab and visiting Canyonlands, Monument Valley, Capital Reef and Arches Parks. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Moab!
