Weekend escape
A fabulous weekend getaway to walk & get out into fresh air. The hotel was wonderful, comfortable rooms and the breakfast & coffee amazing!! Staff friendly & accomodating - we will be back!

Travelled with my partner one night only, it was a great place to stay. Nice walk in the surroundings where you could see some wild life. The breakfast was included wich was great, delicious selection of everything. Dinner a bit expensive but lovely for a 1 night thing. The place is a bit outdated and can be a bit noisy when people are walking in thw corridor due to the wood floor.

Cradle mountain was great. Walking tracks behind where we stayed. Gallery was good (bought some things). Drove to the area to catch the bus that took us to the mountain itself (not able to drive all the way in as restricted). It snowed a tad which we loved, scenery was magnificent. Well recommended to stay - dinner / breakfast onsite at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Loved our stay

Overall we had an excellent stay. The facilities and staff were excellent. However, we were surprised that, at dinner, the option of bread with the meal was non-existent(unless one ordered the soup). This was compounded by the fact that Terrine was one of the items on the menu!

Cradle Mountain Hotel is a good starting point to explore the Cradle Mountain wilderness. The best part for me is the ultra-comfortable bed, whitest white bedsheets and proper featherdown blanket. With reliable hot water showers, these are just what I needed after day long hikes.
