Pleasant stay
The property itself was beautiful. A lake flows in the back of the hotel offering direct access. The shuttle service to village is available on demand and it is a quick short trip. Overall wonderful hotel with nice service.

It was a nice stay but the staff didn’t bother turning on the AC even if we requested it. We understand it’s already cold outside we didn’t want the balcony window open while we are sleeping. The room was so hot. We have an infant and a toddler who were not able to sleep comfortably.

Chateau Beauvalon, where expectations meet surprising reality! The grounds were neglected, possibly due to ongoing roof renovations. The cultural experience felt more South Asian than Quebecois, with certain guests showing little respect for their hosts. The stained carpets were a low point, with sheets offered as a cover-up. At $350 per night, we expected better. Dining was disappointing: small, overpriced drinks and no breakfast or decent coffee options. Chateau Beauvalon has potential, but serious investment in customer experience is needed. Despite claims of shared ownership, the Westin Trust group holds the majority control. Overall, a disappointing stay with room for improvement
