The staff were very courteous. My bathroom , especially the shower was in need of a proper cleaning. There was visible mildew on the grout and tiles. The faucet would do well with some baking soda and vinegar. It was thoughly stained with limescale. The worst part of our stay however, was waking up to no tap water on the second day of our stay. Overall it's a beautiful property, it is just in need of some TLC.

Food options were above expectation - was pleased about that. Having to manage towels and towel cards are not optimal especially since you are at a beach resort. You have to get towels and sometimes more than one at a time. This was a negative for me.

I didn't like how the rooms smell like mold. I think someone should be monitoring the all you can eat buffet. I watched a little boy lick a roll of bread and put it back in the stack. My son came home sick. I think the food is out too long or it's not hot enough. The Jamaican food was good and authentic. I wish we had a larger selection.

I loved the water options, beach, water park for kiddies and very long broken into segments pool with pool bar! There are a lot of restaurant options but the food was similar in most and not very tasty. I would have prefered more authentic tasting Jamaican food since it's in Jamaica. Make reservations at the restaurants would be my recommendation and it must be done at least a day before.

The staff need to learn how to smile and be happy. The buffet food is bland. Orange juice taste like orange juice sometimes and other times it taste like it was mixed with something else. I loved the coffee. The staff really need to give me happy energy.

Cockroach in the room doors are broken not safe to be there because the balcony door cannot close. I got locked out of my room like two times. My door was left wide open because you could’ve just opened it and close it without the key.

I enjoyed the drive to the location of the property and the beautiful view upon arrival. Our room was clean and looked inviting. I was very disappointed that the shower and telephone in our room did not work, however Amoy (Expedia representative and Grand Bahia) remedied the issues later that night and also upgraded our wristbands so we were able to access the Luxury section of Grand Bahia. The rooms need some TLC (older property), well maintained grounds, pool and the restaurants were good too. We would stay again but would also consider upgrading to the Luxury side. Thank you Amoy!

It’s a very nice hotel to stay at but needs to improve on entertainment and activities for guest during night life. The only thing to look forward to is the entertainment by the pool everyday, however, pool closes at 6pm which is very early. There’s not much to do on the resort after 6pm besides eat. They attempted to have an all white party but there was no entertainment or DJ. Everyone was just standing around. Food was decent. Did not have authentic Jamaican food. I rate it a 5 out of 10 mainly because it’s a nice hotel.

Our stay was good, but some things could be better. For example, after 6pm there were no place to get something to drink unless you went to the main lobby. Why don't they have a booth at least two centrally located. Asking for information like where could we find "X" we got three different answers nad two were wrong. Train the staff better to know what's going on. On the beach, there was an exlusive hut to get someting to drink, we didn't sign-up for it, so we had to go 500 feet to the kiddy pool to get something to drink, then had to walk back in the hot sun to our chairs. We had a girl come around once to ask us if we wanted something to drink. ONCE. There should be a hut for drinks and food for EVERYONE. It\s all inclusive. Why don't we have information in the room about things around the resort, we have to download the app. I understand it's a future thing, but it was not good.

The overall experience was good but really what stood out was the two staff members in the restaurant really changed our experience their names were (Tracey and Decoda) so accommodating and pleasant. More then a handful of employees around wore just rude and or walking around with attitudes. I assume maybe because we wasn’t white. We made sure to tip everyone we asked for help. Level of speed was not there very slow and on their time. I wish they had more authentic food everything was Americanized
