Nice property, centrally located, lots of shops in the area, easy walk to the beaxh. My only dislike was the design of the bathroom, when you shower, the entire bathroom gets wet, than can be improved.

Small boutique property. Slight issues: door didnt close properly without security latch, safe wasnt working and balcony door was tricky. Good: excellent food, geest fruit drinks. Bar kitchen close around 930. I only stayed one night but would revisit as the price wasnt bad.

My Boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 days and I would rate the property 3/5. Pros: The Ocean Front View Room was beautiful! Definitely one of my favorites rooms out of all the hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. 24 hour room service. Multiple food options. Ample beach chair and sitting areas. Cons: Someone stole my boyfriend $100 personalized crocs and the hotel wouldn’t help us. The housekeeper was extremely rude and unprofessional after we requested to simply have the sheets changed. Bartenders are nice but unable to make specialty cocktails. They tried their best. Service was 50/50. Some people were really nice and others did the bare minimum.

hi guys I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Hotel 39 in Montego Bay Jamaica, particularly focusing on the exceptional service provided by the staff during my stay. When I initially arrived in Jamaica for a business trip, I was hesitant about my accommodation choices as I was looking to avoid the high costs of all-inclusive hotels. However, as soon as I entered Hotel 39, my perception changed. Despite my initial skepticism, the receptionist, the security guard at the gate, and even the general manager impressed me with their warm greetings and helpful demeanor. The level of friendliness and professionalism exhibited by the entire staff was truly remarkable. While I refrain from singling out specific individuals to avoid any unintended implications, I must emphasize that every staff member I interacted with deserves recognition for their outstanding hospitality. I would easily rate the service provided by the staff at Hotel 39 a perfect score of 100 out of 100. Their attentiveness and courteousness surpassed that of many larger establishments in Montego Bay and surrounding areas. It is important to note that Hotel 39 caters more towards adult clientele and solo travelers, making it an ideal choice for business trips or leisure stays for adults. I would not recommend this venue for families with children, as the atmosphere and amenities are tailored towards a more mature audience. In conclusion, I am already looking forward to my next visit to Jamaica

Room 302 - Sea view. The hotel was convenient to the beach and other venues we were attending. The staff, including front desk, bar, dining and housekeeping, were friendly, helpful and personable at all times. The food options we ordered were well presented and good. More attention should be taken with steaks as one of our party got a medium well steak instead of a medium rare. Coffee and tea cups were too small. More service staff is also needed. The rooms are pleasant and clean, with the amenities such as the safe, iron and board welcome additions. The issues I found in the rooms were not enough towels, no regular pillow cases, although this was eventually addressed, loose toilet seat, and not enough clothes/towel hooks. There were also construction clean up issues in the bathroom which needed to be addressed. It would also be helpful to have a brochure giving information about the room and hotel amenities. Our stay at Hotel 39 was enjoyable and we would definitely stay there again.

It of course can't compete in facilities that the big resort hotels provide but it was a very pleasant place to stay - large rooms relatively recently renovated, with a balcony, a small elevated pool, a good restaurant, pleasant staff, and close to the nicely landscaped Harmony Beach which has security to regulate entrance. It is in the rather 'interestingly' named Hip Strip district so there is a limited choice of restaurants nearby if you don't wish to dine at the hotel.

The staff are SUPER friendly & helpful. We loved our stay thanks to them and the chef who prepared our meals. We had a working fridge and A/C in our room. We had a beautiful view of the beach. We were able to bring our friends & family over to the hotel without any hassles. Loved this hotel.

We booked last minute for a one-night stay in Montego Bay. Great location on the bustling Strip across from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and a short drive to the airport. Completely renovated with a sleek, modern, inviting decor. Although on a busy main street, inside is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are spacious with large balconies and comfy beds. The lobby and patio are perfect for drinks and conversation. The reasonable room rate includes free, secure parking and a delicious Jamaican or continental breakfast. I recommend for business travellers and vacationers who like to be close to the city action.

Hotel 39 is a great small hotel that has been recently renovated. They are not all inclusive but the breakfast is included and they have a small bar and restaurant. Wait time will be a little longer but that’s expected with Jamaican dining and again they are small. The staff are very attentive and courteous. The rooms are very spacious with nice balcony and modern build. Highly recommend if you want to be conveniently located to everything Montego Bay. Definitely a hidden gem that needs more marketing.
