After reading some reviews I was a little bit worried about our stay, but it ended up being a wonderful place. This resort is locally owned and provides a little bit of that local feel to it. I had read that the staff was not polite, but that could be further from the truth. Everyone seemed to be so pleasant and helpful. There were only two people that were a little questionable with their attitudes but everyone else was super nice and attentive. I am terrible at names or I would list them all, but I do know that Richie the bellhop was a pleasure to talk to and provide some details about his country. Bartenders were nice, wait staff was nice, they even had our drinks waiting when we turned around to talk. I think that we were very well taken care of. Every morning they were cleaning the property. I often times saw 5 to 8 people at least sweeping and cleaning. The property is a little outdated, but if you don’t mind that, it is a great place. The food did not change much daily, but it was very good. The omelettes in the morning were amazing. The food at the beach bar was OK, not great but it was definitely good enough to keep you satisfied. They also provide a little deli that has some great treats as well. I recommend getting a cup with about half of it ice cream and then go into the bar and having them fill it up with some coconut rum. I have read that the AC did not work, but ours was so cold. We had to keep turning it up. We always had hot water and clean room.

Relax in the sunshine
What a warm friendly welcome you get here. Everyone wants to make sure you are ok and do what they can to help. My wife had a terrible chest infection and the on site nurse was a star providing medication and checking on her welfare (all at no cost) The hotel is obviously a few years old but the rooms are pristine and the AC super cool. Restaurant cuisine is mainly Jamaican but you can always find something to eat and the snack bars provide burgers hot dogs etc so you won’t go hungry. Big shout out to Andre at the bar and Carla for the excellent room cleaning. We stopped at Sandals in Jamaica a few years ago and I can honestly say this has been a far more enjoyable experience albeit there’s no wither service for drinks We Will definitely be returning

The place was horrible. Very thuggish they treat people really bad! It’s ran down property there’s rats everywhere! The pillows are small the beach is not what’s advertise! Showers not warm at all they serve the same food for breakfast and dinner. It’s sinks bad!

It was an ok stay. I was disappointed that the pool was under construction and closed. Shocked that there wasn’t an elevator on the side of the Resort we stayed so we had to go up 5 flights of stairs each time we went to our rooms, so we asked for a lower floor because we both had issues with our feet and legs, when we were given the lower floor we had to drag our luggage down the 5 flights of stairs it was horrible! Check out was horrible, line out the door, a mgr came in and started asking to help but didn’t ask who was next in line and we questioned her and she was very unprofessional I can’t recall her name. The stay/Resort was nothing like I imagined from the pictures but at least I can say I’ve been to Jamaica I guess.

We had a great time here. The property is in great condition and the entertainment was top class. The food was a wonderful mix of local and international and the beach is lovely. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the staff could be a bit more pleasant and carry a more pleasant demeanor. The property is older and could be upgraded a bit but that did not take anything away from the stay. I would definitely return.

Booked this hotel last minute due to a flight cancellation, pictures looked good and it was close to airport. On the description of the hotel it said it had cots available which is what we needed, so we booked. Arrived at the hotel, asked if the cot was in the room (i had stated we needed this at tjme of booking) and get to the room, no cot, thats fine as we booked last minute so we go downstairs to ask. After waiting almost an hour and asking several times i go back downstairs one final time at 11pm to be told theres no cots. Daughter had to sleep in a suitcase (no joke) as the double bed was so tiny there was literally no room to have her between us. Next morning we go down to breakfast, had a waiter tutting at us and circling us saying how messy the floor was underneath my daughters highchair. It was literally a bit of pancake. In the end he annoyed me so much i bit back at him and told him we intend to clean it up - we ALWAYS do this wherever we go. Fast forward to lunch and we were told off as my son was wet and to dry off, pretty hard when its hammering it down outside, but fair enough my husband takes him to reception. I stand up to get my food and none other than Clayton again comes running over to tell me im wet. I hadnt been in the pool or the sea, i was damp from running inside from the rain. Just a rude rude rude man with an attitude problem. Food is practically inedible. Only thing worth eating was the omelette made fresh at breakfast and the fruit.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was overall friendly and the frint desk workers were not professional. The hotel was not accommodating. I requested two beds and was no given that. I was offered a cot to sleep on. I wastild that there is no guarantee that I could have what I requsted and hotels.com overbooked them.I shared the queen sized bed. The tv didnt work I requested servicefor that but nothing was fixed. I requed clean towel and didnt receive then until bedtime. The dirty towels were never picked up. When my bed was made my blanket was removed and never replaced. I was uncomfortable and did not enjoy my stay. Also, when it rains one of the restaurant floods. The food was okay. The drinks were okay. The gift shop was overpriced. If you're needing an all inclusive hotel to stay at that with bad service, leaky ceilings, half clean and unseasoned food. Come here
