Stayed 2 nights in July in a king, first floor room. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The couch had a major sag in the middle and was almost unusable. The bathroom was large and the tub and shower were clean and operating well with good water flow and hot water supply. The continental breakfast was marginal. Check in was very slow, with a slow-moving lineup. It really shouldn’t take that long since everyone has probably provided all the relevant info other than vehicle online. Location was very good, with a reasonable walk to Fisherman’s Wharf.
Other than check in, my only significant complaint was the noise level from the room above. It seemed we could hear every footstep above us. There seemed to be a family with at least two active children who were running around. The noise disturbed both me and my wife. Fortunately, the children did not settle too late, but that was purely luck of the draw. If you stay here my advice is to request a room on the upper floor. Overall, I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10, downgraded mainly because of the room noise.
