We enjoyed the stay. We just needed to get rested up from a lot of driving. The room was nice and clean. Everything in its place except there wasn’t a hair dryer and the remote to the televisions batteries were dead the next morning so we gave it to a lady that worked there the next morning, we wanted to watch the news while getting ready to leave, thinking she’d be back with it before we checked out but she came back about an hour later as we’re getting ready to walk out the door. It was frustrating somewhat but not giving a bad review. The breakfast bar shut down at 9:30, we thought it was 10:00 like a lot of other hotels and of course I went down as they were cleaning up. I did manage to get the last bit of sausage and bacon which was tasty. Coffee was great! Very friendly staff. Would recommend!

Smelled like literal fecal matter as soon as we walked through the door to the lobby. Room door barely shut, had to barricade the door (making it extra unsafe in the event of an emergency). One of the 2 room keys didn’t work. Bathroom was so small, we couldn’t even close the door to use it.

Appearance was good on the outside of the property. The person who checked me in appeared to be sick or had something going on with him. His personality was so off that the guy who rode the elevator with me even said to me about it. The hallway completely stunk from odors. The key card would not open my door. I had to get the attendee because it was not working. He came up to show me how to operate the door. The card reader had to be held a certain way to read the cards. It did not read cards all the time. I played 5 to 10 minutes every time. I went in the room. Just to open the door. I went to Food Lion and purchased a can of Lysol. Just to spray the room down because of the odor. There were multiple stink bugs flying around the room and dead stink bugs in the window ledge. The bathroom was so small that you had to walk in. Turn and close the door. Just to sit on the toilet without hitting your knees. I slept on the outside of the bed due to the stains on the linens. Ironically,I told guy who checked me in. When asked my room preference that I was good as long as the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Noise was a factor as well. Glass bottles going to trash, people being loud and not a clue where all the banging was coming from. The best part of my stay was leaving and lady that greeted me as I leaving at the desk.

This is a very convenient location for a stop on a longer trip we make to Florida. We have stayed at this hotel previously however, it is considerably more run down than prior visits. Rate charged for a dog is pretty reasonable compared to other properties.
