There was a young chap probably a teenager working for the organisation cleaning around the area where I parked my car. We were loading items to leave so I advised him to come back once we had left to finish cleaning. He took offence at this, and left, on his way back as we were finishing up, again he tried to clean the area, again I advised we were going to leave, could he please come back, he mouthed b**ch and left.
I believe his name was Anum. I went to the reception and Joanny at the front desk explained it must have been a miscommunication.
I advised whether you speak English or French a swear word is pretty clear to understand.
I am surprised which an organisation is hiring such untrained staff, who lack the basic commutation skills, to underhand English. Maybe if he had understood me he would not have taken offence to my request ?? Either way to swear back and then have front desk Joanny essentially not acknowledge by concerns and just say it was likely a miscommunication, was a big shock.
I come from the UK, so far the Canadian hotels I have stayed at BW; holiday inn; Wingate; etc may not have been fantastic quality but at least they were polite??!!
I advise not to book comfort inn to anyone coming to Canada.
Ps the bathtub had black mould it it, we could not have a shower as we had a 15 month old with us.
I am also a physician so I am aware of the negative effects of black mould.
