The room was incredibly spacious. Two bathrooms, a sitting area and separate bedroom. Very conveniently located in Old Montreal. The location of our room on the 2nd floor, unfortunately, meant we heard a lot of the noise from the 1st floor lobby; but this was not a problem all the time. Loved this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location and the room was clean and large. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The slight downsides were blinds that let in some light, and the smell of cigarette smoke at reception.

Love and Loyalty to Place d'Armes
I love Place d'Armes and have been coming and staying here for the last 15 years. Location cannot be beat, overlooking Notre Dame Cathedral and square in Old Montreal. The staff is friendly, responsive, and efficient. The rooftop lounge is cool. The first level bar/restaurant is great. Room are spacious, lots of brick and wide-panel planks. They upgraded me to executive suite, which was wonderful with couch and chairs. Fitness facility could be upgraded and always nice to look out from window when working out. This is the only place I'll stay in Montreal.

Exceptional service. Very friendly staff who give excellent recommendations for food and sights. Room was clean with high end complimentary soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Very comfortable king size bed. Complimentary valet parking for guests.
