Impeccably clean but dated
Le Square Phillips Hotel is impeccably clean and the staff are friendly and highly professional. The hotel is quite dated though in terms of style and fit and finish. Also the cafeteria style continental breakfast is underwhelming and bland (except the Montreal bagels) and served using way too many throw away plastic containers items.

The location is great! I have stayed this hotel many times. The parking is very expensive though. The room is spacious. The gym equipment be updated. The bell men and housekeepers are very friendly! Thanks!!

Would recommend! Better than anticipated, especially for the price. The rooms are nice and roomy, the ceiling was very tall and windows very huge. Even though there was construction, it was honestly very quiet. Slept very good. The valet parking was very convenient. The location was perfect, 10 min walk to the underground city. Eaton Centre & Complexe Desjardins are within walking distance. There's also a tim hortons near by. The breakfast was bagels, yogurt, fresh fruits like oranges.

Great stay in downtown Montreal
Hotel is very clean, beds comfortable, amenities of great quality. I reserved a triple room and was upgraded to a giant 2-bedroom suite. Family was very happy !!! Reception staff was very nice and useful. Breakfast was ok but the space was a little bit cramped.

We have stayed here many times and absolutely love it. It is close to all shopping on St. Catherine St. and many bars and restaurants. The service is excellent, and the concierge is second to none!
