The Lobby was very impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The rooms did not match the lobby. There was a dirty towel on the sink as soon as we walked in, I just kicked it under the sink because the rest of the room looked clean. The bathroom had chipped tiles, as did the toilet seat. We got a room with a pullout couch and the mattress was very uncomfortable. There wasn't anything special about the rooms. We attended for a convention, so it was nice to be able to be close to our room.

Staff couldn’t find my reservation at check in. Parking is a good walk from the hotel and it’s slightly dated. Room was clean, breakfast was better than most places and the location was great as you could walk to many locations.

This is my third time staying at the Capital Plaza and don't plan on staying anywhere else when visiting the area (Bourbon Trail). The front desk staff was excellent, very friendly and informative. We felt very welcomed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were on a long road trip and this was our 7th place we stayed and it, by far, had the most comfortable bed! I didn't want to get out. We were beyond satisfied. The breakfast was good, the attendant and chef were very friendly. We love Capital Plaza and will be staying there again in the future!

Breakfast was good and the walk all around the hotel is great! River walk and capitol walk is wonderful. They will be under construction for next year… hopefully not too expensive because it’s affordable today $109.00 per night. Room is clean and comfortable THE PHONE is broken and they cannot replace system old….couldnt call my room to check in and the fridge was cold which is a good thing lol.

The curtains were in poor condition… there appeared to be what looked like possibly black mold on the curtains and they were dusty. The mattress on the bed was like sleeping on the floor.

Good location but they are still in the process of renovations. There were stains all over the floor and sheets in our room. The lamp beside the bed was shorting out. The roof above the pool was leaking rain water in many places.
