Think again about staying here.
Worst hotel bed EVER! We were told the hotel was on limited staff and to leave towels outside door for replacement. They took ours and left us nothing. Had to call for replacements. Breakfast staff were very friendly along with front desk. Hotel is in need of total makeover.

Its location is good, and the staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet is very good. My only disappointment here is, that it’s very outdated and needs a refresh, furniture finishes, etc which is why I’d consider it 3 star. Parking is free, which is always a plus.

We stayed here about 1.5yrs ago, and I dont know if there was a change in ownership or not, but it wasn’t quite as clean as the last time. In particular the rugs need a good cleaning

The room was nice except bathroom door wouldn’t close. Breakfast and parking great. Not sure if it was a busy time greeter didn’t explain things u til I asked. Specifically to parking and breakfast.

Everyone was very nice and helpful, with what we needed fixed in the room. Enjoyed the lady who greeted us every morning for breakfast. The breakfast was good and had a variety! I really enjoyed the fountain in the lobby, it gave its own uniqueness. The fountain was very pleasant and peaceful to listen to, and provided Capital Plaza’s beauty along with the unique plants around it!

Great location to visit Buffalo Trace and walk to local bars. Loved the vast grassy lawn for our pups. Incredibly friendly staff. Convenient and free parking.

Overall the hotel is fine. It just desperately needs some updating. The room itself was relatively clean. Carpet seemed like it could benefit from a cleaning... The bed was quite comfortable, however the pillows were laughably small. We tried to access the workout facilities at one point during out stay, however the door would not open after inserting our room key. Location is fantastic if you are heading to Buffalo Trace (about 2 minutes down the road) and the many other distilleries in the area. Parking is ample and also very convenient. Nothing about the property was so egregious that we felt the need to complain to staff at all. It was an enjoyable stay, would just maybe look for a newer or more updated hotel in the future.

Parking is very inconvenient. Lobby was well kept, staff were exceptionally kind. Our room was old and pretty gross. Stains on carpets, furniture, and walls. Smelled like musty cigarettes and the bathroom floor was SUPER STICKY. The front desk gave me cleaner so I took care of that. The bed was comfortable (we like firm surfaces) but the mattress didn’t fit the bed properly. There were no available King rooms. Breakfast was pretty awful, I’m gluten free so my safe options were uncooked hash browns and eggs- there is a farmer’s market across the street :) this place has potential but needs an overhaul.

Good hotel at a great location
Nice hotel. A little dated, but it is an easy walk to downtown. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was also very nice. Did not try the pool.
