Arrived at the hotel 10 minutes to 4pm. Was told we could check in for $25 or wait until 4pm. General manager checked us in after 4pm. This is an old Hampton Inn with new paint. Holes on lamp shade on desk. Cheap fake leather furniture. Fabric portion stained. Bed very uncomfortable. Next morning went to front desk and asked for shower cap out of stock. Then asked where to get coffee. Out of regular coffee. Only decaf. We would never recommend this property.

My family and two dogs did a quick beach getaway and Hotel Alice gave us everything we wanted. The room was a bit dated but super clean and extremely pet friendly. We will be back!

The property outside is way better than the inside. The inside seemed dingy when you walked in. The room was surface clean but you can tell it’s not been deep cleaned in a very long time. The bed was not comfy. The air conditioner was horrible. It felt like I was inhaling moldy air. I had a rough time with this the most.

Undisclosed early fee if checking in before 4pm, you have to beg to get the room serviced then they don’t take out the trash, dirty floors with grit and dirty. Ice makers all broken, over charge from contract rate. In 60 years has to be the most overpriced and overrated hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

We love everything even though for a night stay. I love the outdoor sofa, especially at night time. The pool it's kinda dirty, well maybe when they come from the beach they go straight to the pool that's the only concern but besides that the ambiance is great and all.

I understand having a policy around early check in. I called the hotel prior to arriving and no one answered so I went ahead and drove there when I got into town. It was earlier than 4, so I understand not allowing me to check into my room. The lobby was completely empty, so I just wanted to sit at a table in the lobby and work. I was told, no I cannot stay at the hotel or I’d be charged a fee. Seems a little much and I wasn’t super happy about that. There are plenty of other places to stay and next time I’m in town I’ll be looking elsewhere. The pillows and beds could use slight upgrades:)

I am not one that usually leaves reviews but for this experience I will. I chose this hotel based on its reviews. Take my advice and do not book here. My daughter and I drove over five hours from VA and arrived at 1:00 am. We were checked into our room approximately twenty minutes later. We immediately went to bed as were exhausted. Around 4:00 am my daughter woke up screaming that a bug was crawling on her in the bed. Sure enough we discovered more bugs crawling on the floor and spiders on the walls. We immediately packed our things and went downstairs. I went to the front desk and informed the attendant of what had happened. I asked him to just refund us for the second night as we were not going to sleep there after that experience. He said he couldn’t refund anything because we booked through here and we needed to contact them. I called my third party and they spoke to the manager and the manager is refusing to refund anything and even went further to say there was never a complaint when I spoke to the man at the front desk that even checked us in. Please pull the camera footage. Unbelievable. Never again.
