It came as a surprise when we e got charged $13.99 and not knowing what it was for. Opened a case with Marriott and got a response 4 days later stating that it was Internet service. During the stay, and while we used the Internet, the login process always started the Internet was free, especially with Bonvoy account. $13.99 Internet service while it should have been free is a total surprise. This is the first time ever we got charged for internet service. All our cell phones are on unlimited data plan as well, but we thought using wifi would be a better option. Apparently not at Marriott. I no longer can recommend Marriott and will not stay at Marriott for future trips. Will also influence the company to not stay at Marriott and its other brand hotels.

Experience was a nightmare. Stayed here to recover from surgery but could not relax because emergency alarm went off twice for no reason during my stay. Each alarm was set off on two separate days while i was sleeping. Both times it was a false alarm but still nerve racking. Alarm went iff 20 min first time and afew days later went off about 10 min. Each time i jumped from bed packed all belonging with bandages from surgery and heavily medicated. On tip of this the rooms have no microwave so you have no choice but to order room service or cold meals. Had spaghetti accross strreet and took leftovers back to hotel only to realize if i wanted to reheat i must go down 8 floors and eat inside laundry room where they have one old microwave that barely works. This hotel is a huge disappointment for $550 a night.
