This was a lovely place in the heart of Aschheim. Beautiful scenery and a lovely little town. A bus stop at the front door to help you get to munich centre. Perfect place for a very reasonable price. I didnt have acess to my own fridge but that was the only negative thing.

The room we had was very dated. There is no A/C, so there were fans...but the fans were dusty. We reserved in advance for 2 adults and 1 child. When we arrived, we were given two rooms (conjoining) and charged accordingly. Had we known the hotel does not accommodate 1 child in the same room with the parents we would not have booked.

This hotel is in a two storey building, where the second floor rooms are under the attic and therefore very warm and this property does not have air conditioning system. There is only little fan in the room. A plenty of TV channels were available, but none of them in English language. Breakfast was good.

When I booked here it stated that parking and breakfast was included in the price. On check in I was told it would cost an extra € 21.00 for breakfast daily per person and an extra € 15.00 for parking daily per car. I eventually gave up talking to the staff about it since they could barely speak German or English (including the manager). It sounded like they explained that their prices have changed since I booked the rooms. Not acceptable.

Aschheim is a cute little town very close to Munich & the Achat Hotel is very conveniently located. The staff is very helpful. Bus/Train to Munich is just across the street & very easy to navigate. The breakfast is very expensive, but there is a great bakery just a couple blocks away. Overall a great place to stay.

Just 1 night stay during our European Trip, there was no aircondition and it was very hot in our room. We havent received any upgrade and there was no place for us on the covered parking which was to be given for GOLD member status guests.
