GOOD:
- amazing breakfast
- clean and modern room
OK:
- at checking personal not really friendly / helpful / interested
- second day front desk personal was great
BAD:
- parking situation (garage always full, parking along street hard to find too and doesn't look safe)
- very small rooms
- no fridge in room
- water temperature
- tiny shower / shampoo bags
- on coffee / water available during the day (only for high charges)
They have a tiny carpark which was already full by 17:00 when we arrived to check in. There is no street parking close to hand and ReWe carpark downstairs charges 25euro night time rate up to 6am so you better be up early! After that it’s about 4 euro an hour on top after 6am. Hotel night ended up costing double
It's quiet, breakfast buffet was excellent. Check in was fast and easy. Bathroom sink was too small, no place to put personal stuff. Check out was fast, BUT the man on the reception was not friendly.
This should be called Hotel “Armpits” due to the rude staff. We picked this property because it was lower cost than other hotels for Oktoberfest. It was a bad idea as we found out. Transportation is limited; be prepared to walk a mile to the S Bahn or wait for the bus at the right time. The money you save from it being far from the center of Munich is lost when you factor in time and transportation cost.
The rooms have kid sized bathroom sinks and it didn’t matter how careful you were, water went everywhere. The breakfast was also cheap and not good.
The deal breaker was the rude staff. There was a guy at the front desk who yelled at one of us for getting hot chocolate without paying first in the after hours. They had cups available and people were sitting in the kitchen area drinking or minding their own business. There wasn’t a clear sign to pay first. This hotel was already in a bad location, small configurations, and the least they can do is be professional to guests. It was the delivery of the message; you don’t have to yell at grown adults to get your message across. Pick other hotels that are closer to transportation and with nicer people.
The room was very small, the hallway to the rooms smells, like the carpet needs cleaning, the walls were dirty, the walls in the room looked like they have been kicked and they just patched them with off color paint. The buffet wasn’t very good. The quality of the bread and cold meats wasn’t the best
