Excellent choice for a stay in the city of Munich. Great location for walking and touring. Staff is wonderful and the entire hotel clean and comfortable. Breakfast a must, too.

Perfect Hotel!

Charming hotel with excellent helpful staff. Our room was very big with a love seat, lounge chair area. Big nice bathroom. Room fridge which was stocked and free to guests. Excellent location. 5 minute walk to Marienplatz. Isator train station almost directly across the street. Lots of very close good restaurants. Classy attached bar. You cannot go wrong staying here.

The Hotel Torbrau is a gracefully aging "Grand Dame" of a hotel, like visiting your old European grandmother. The staff are eager to help visitiors, the lobby is very inviting, and they offer free non-alcoholic fruit spritzers in the afternoons around 3 pm. It was very helpful to have the various clock displays showing our home time zone (Florida/New York), my children's time zone (Oregon/California), and other time zones. Expedia gave us a 36 Euro voucher for Shapeau - the restaurant attached to the hotel. We enjoyed an outdoor table with Aperol Spritzers and chicken salads one evening. Prices were very reasonable & the salads were great!
