The WunderLocke is just south of centre Munich and perfectly located for either driving or public transport. It’s more of an apartment-hotel, so if you’re only staying for a week, your room will not be cleaned, and fresh towels need to be gotten from the front desk. Our room (the 3-person loft) was outfitted with a kitchenette (stovetop), fridge, mini-dishwasher, and a 2-in-1 washer/dryer as well as all utensils and dishes.
The sauna, pool and gym facilities are amazing and well kept, but keep in mind, if you’re going to Oktoberfest, you can only use the sauna before you attend the festival and not after, and Tuesday morning and Thursday evening is reserved for women only.
There is a large above ground parking lot for a small fee, but they don’t give you an access card, so you need to run back and forth to the front desk every time to access the garage which can be a pain.
