From Check in I should’ve checked out.

The “amenities” list is not accurate. The doors to get into you room, at least my room were very narrow and my door looked as though it had been kicked in. The bathroom sink smelled awful, the air conditioner was very loud, the front desk clerk at check in was less than friendly, I don’t think he cared about anything to do with his job. The parking garage is confusing, maybe if the front desk clerk was more informative it would have helped. Overall just a bad experience.

All in all we had a pretty good stay at the strand, my biggest complaint was the bartender on our second day which would have been September 10th. She was very rude and not a pleasure to be around. I think she should consider a different job with you guys, maybe cleaning rooms or gathering up dirty towels and trash. Something where she doesn't have interaction with guests. How's that sound

All of the staff that we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. We asked about handicap parking and were very disappointed for 3 main reasons...1- we were told it was across the street, 2- there were no designated parking spots that we saw and 3- walking up and down 2 flights of stairs is hard for somebody with limited mobility. Your website said that there was an on-site restaurant. We never saw one. The free breakfast was pretty good with different selections each morning. We were pleased with the food that we ordered from the bar. The hotel appears to be an older building and could use some upgrades. Our bed was comfortable and we were pleased with our room.

Where we do like the Strand Boutique as we have been there 3 times…. We were a little disappointed in our room this time. We normally get the ocean front but got ocean view this time. The hotel next to us had very loud compressors, there was mold in bathroom, just not as happy as in the past. People all very friendly, free shuttle to and from airport, free breakfast and rest was still great!

It was a nice enough stay. Not as boutique like as photos seemed to show. But the breakfast was decent each day and the seating by the ocean was really nice. Wasn’t a fan of the smell in the lobby. Almost like air freshener used to cover up smoker smell.
