Staff was very friendly. Proactive notification of the northern lights was great. Included free breakfast buffet was outstanding. The only thing we wished fir was a little more space in our room. It was really tight for two people.

Our stay here while traveling the Ring Rd was quiet and restful. It was super convenient to area sites. Having a formal restaurant and one with no reservations was great for our timing. The bed was great and amenities pleasant. Staff were helpful and very service oriented.

I stayed 2 nights here while exploring the Mývatn area and it was convenient, cozy, & offered plenty of options for dining. My only critique here would be that, unlike most other stays in Iceland, breakfast is an extra 4500 ISK (45 CAD). I do like that there are a couple of on-site dining options, though. And the outdoor hot tubs are a nice-to-have.

The room is clean and spacious, liked the heated towel rack in the bathroom, helped dry up our wet clothes from the rain. The check-in process was very smooth and the staff explained everything in detail and very patient with our questions. Good location, right beside Myvatn lake.

This hotel stood out among others as being luxurious, refined and the staff really cared out its guests having a premium and memorable experience. We stayed in a superior room and found the two chairs to be comfortable (they slightly reclined when using them) and the fan was the only one we ever saw in the country to give us airflow. Nice decor throughout, highly recommend!
