We were greeted with nice staff and offering free coffee. This place was near the Nature baths and really cool volcanic scenery. Nice surprise for our accommodations to have a room to sleep in and then a separate room for lounging and luggage to go in. The dinner options were few but great. We ate a local farm that was upscale, but very un-assuming. The food was awesome. We were only there for one night, but we would definitely go back since there was a lot of different things that we didn't get to explore in the area.

The customer service was exceptional and our meal at the restaurant was the absolute best that we had in Iceland (& this is saying a lot as we ate at some very nice places). The hotel is older but charming and our room was comfortable and clean. It is located right across the street from the visitor center and next to a great walking trail that goes on for miles. The absolute best part was the staff 7 & the food!!! I hope to come back and will definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends who are planning to visit.

Extremely disappointing and overpriced. We stayed at 10 different hotels with different price range in Iceland this June. This one was THE WORST value for the money paid. Outdated room with an awful uncomfortable shower that would flood the whole bathroom after the shower is used. Breakfast buffet did not taste fresh by 9am. Awful experience I wish we would stay somewhere else. The hotel staff is not helpful at all - the main objective clearly is the to make money of the tourists by any means.

Thought slightly old building, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice. One minus point is there is no mesh window screen to block the midges. Whenever you open the window, there are swarm of midges coming in. They are non biting, just annoying. A mesh window screen should do the trick.

Great places, of all the places that we stayed across in Iceland on our road trip, this was the best. Martinis and Beer and the food was fantastic. They have a very sumptuous all inclusive breakfast. Keep it up!!
