Location was great. The bike rental was very convient. Was able to check in early. No clean towels in gym (although it was 9 at night). No tampons in lobby store.

Everything was excellent. Best view ever! Waterfront spacious rooms. Highly recommended. When you are paying by credit card, make sure to select the option “Danish Krone”. If you select any other currency there will be a significant commission. Hotel does not warn about this detail.

Ordinary Marriott hotel, nice lobby, clean rooms while room bathroom needed updating. Our sink was cracked. The front desk staff was very polite and welcoming. Hotel is to the south from the city center and within a walking distance from major historic sights.

My mother fell and slipped in the bathtub and hit her head on the bathroom floor. There anti slip in the tub had been so worn out that the bathtub was very slippery. There was no handle bar you could hold on to when stepping outside the tub making this especially difficult for senior citizens. My mother had bump the size of a baseball. When she first fell and screamed from the bathroom, I called the receptionist to help me call for a doctor. NO ONE was answering the phone for 10mins straight. After assisting my mom, I had to walk down and call the attention of the front desk. The people at the front desk said they don't have a private doctor on call and explained to me that Denmark is a socialist country so calling a doctor would be very difficult to do. When I asked for ice, there was no effort or assistance, they merely said there is an ice machine in every floor. My mother is fine but what happened if it was a real emergency. The hotel manager the next day was the only one very helpful to us and suggested we move to a different floor with a shower rather than a bath tub.

Hotel is in good condition and staff are professional. The hotel location is a little bit removed from the center of town but being on the water is great. Very good gym, sauna and steam rooms and breakfast buffet is excellent.

If you want an American style hotel when you travel in Europe, this hotel is for you. Aside from the sauna facilities adjacent to the gym, you cam find this hotel in any large American city. Large, modern rooms with two beds, good for families. A warning - Denmark is an expensive country and all the food and beverage pricing will shock you as compared to the US. It's about a 1 KM walk to the main square in front of city hall, slightly less to the train station. If the weather is good, walk to the hotel if you are coming by train and have light luggage.
