The property is clearly showing its age, room looks like it was very nice in the 90s but has not been sufficiently updated for modern times. There was VERY LITTLE sound deadening in the room, all night I could hear motorcycles revving their engines up and down the street outside plus I could hear all the salarymen bringing home their “girls” and I could hear EVERYTHING. Quite possibly the worst nights of sleep I have had in all of Japan. Stay somewhere else unless this is the only option. Plus side it’s super close to the station and easy to walk to, as well as lots of shopping and dining nearby.

I had the most amazing stay!
Nothing can beat the location of Meitetsu Grand. The hotel is connected to the subway shopping avenue via a lift, which makes it super convenient to travel by train, shop and dine. There's also plenty of food choices nearby. Staff are very hospitable, overall i had an amazing stay.

Excellent location for taking train and meitetsu bus center. Hotel check-in at 11 floors and it is link to Meitsute shopping mall. The hotel is out-dated but clean and basic requirements are there. The staffs are very helpful. Room come with capsule coffee machine and green tea sachet. No bottle water but water jag provided to take from the drinking water machine near lift area. Recommend to stay as it is very convenient to move around.

Cost-effective, convenient, and comfortable hotel
It wasn't the latest establishment, but it made me feel nostalgic 20 to 30 years ago. That said, it wasn't uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and relaxed. The improvement was that the room was dim in lighting and didn't come with cups (of course, I was out there, but they ran out when I tried). I'm going to visit again because of the convenient transportation.
