Staff are extremely helpful and friendly but hotel is older and needs repairs. Free “continental” breakfast was an Eggo waffle from the fridge and a hard boiled egg with old coffee. Would highly recommend Nanaimo but stay elsewhere

I’ve read those questionable reviews. Then there’s the honest ones pushed down somewhere. Read those, they’re true. I noticed hair on towels and shower bottles, dents on fridge, microwave. Old messed up dusty baseboards, pictures, walls and uneven floors. Holes and/or stains on bedding and towels. Garbage beside the fridge and under the bunk was an empty beer can with garbage in it. I mentioned it to the front desk. They’ll make a note of it. We’re paying money for this. Please, do better.

Even though there was a mix up on my booking (Expedia didnt confirm with Days inn of a change) days inn staff were still able to get us a room, not the king but a queen which was still okay for us. The set up was nice. The breakfast is always good as well.

Started off ok, but that quickly ended. Went to the onsite restaurant and ordered a new turkey dinner and the stuffing was expired grey and mushed. Found body hair in the bathtub and sink told front desk and they didnt say anything or offer anything.

We were very happy with our room. It appeared to have been recently renovated. We were 3 adults, a toddler and 2 small dogs in a 2 x queen room. We had enough space and were also happy to have a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was also quite acceptable. I had booked the stay and dine so also had coupons for free dinners at the Ricky's. Since we arrived late the first night, we were very happy that they accepted our coupons for breakfast the following morning. The only reason I gave 4 starts rather than 5 was because I had found a few silverfish in the bathroom over the 2 nights we were there. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.
