The property was nice. The bathroom could use an update. The bath mat was really stinky like mold and the shower curtain needed to be replaced. The sea plane activity is fun to watch but can be noisy. The large TV was nice. The bed was comfy. We were a bit bummed that we paid more for the room than people checking in without a reservation.

We had a lovely stay at the Coast Bastion. The room was updated and impeccably clean. Nice touches like slippers in addition to robes. Staff was gracious and very helpful. We had a wonderful view of the harbour - it was picture perfect. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

Had a room with magnificent views of harbour hills and bay. We had slight difficulty in locating th ereception checkin area as its not obviousl when arriving by car ho wto access the front of the building to unload cases however that might just have been us. Once there we checked in and parked up in their car park which had direct access to th ehotel via a rear entry. There was plenty of shops with walks round the harbour and bay area with loads of places to eat and shop close by. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, safe and tea and coffee facilities. The view was the highlight however with balcony doors and owing to the panoramic windows we could see magnificent views with sunrise and sunset being spectacular. Staff were polite and helpful. We did not use the in house bar or eating facilities when there on this occasion.

We had our 10 year old Golden Retriever staying with us and found the staff, our room and the area very Pet friendly. I would highly recommend this Hotel if you are travelling with your pet.
