Good location

The first impression of the place was good from the outside however the room is a bit tired. Clean but some things need attention. Generally speaking walking distance to centre (10-12min) same to the supermarket. Motel is across the road from the beach. Nice place to have a walk. We had a family room with spa bath which was ok and small kitchennet if you would like to cook meals yourself. It was pleasant stay for fair price.

We had a two bedroom apartment with kitchenette and dining. The rooms were immaculately clean (so much so that we could still smell the bleach) and well appointed. The rooms are a little old and worn, but still well kept. Reception was friendly and it’s easy to find. Would definitely recommend for families.

Nice and spacious room for sleeping, nice to have power plugs next to both sides of the bed. Kitchen provided a lot of utensils, coffee and tea, stovetop was a little awkward to figure out but still good. Bathroom is a nice size, the large mirror is really good too! Certainly recommend for those wanting a flexible but low-price place to stay. Free parking is a great additional perk as well

Affordable place with great location. The room was large/ long. Don't be deceived by the normal hotel look outside. Lots of parking on the street or inside their courtyard. The balcony looking towards the Pacific Ocean was nice. We left the back door open to listen to the ocean as we slept. The bed was the most comfortable we had our entire trip. We enjoyed the large jacuzzi tub in the room, too. The nearby Drift restaurant was a bust but the Irish Pub down the way was good for drinks. There is a large kid park across the street by the ocean. Also, Ice cream is a close walk next to the kid park. Many shops and restaurants are a short walk away- no vehicle needed. We would recommend this place.

The spider webs and dirt hanging from ceilingnot nice. The toilet seat is not same size as toilet so it moved all the time. Carpets not secure anymore. Bed also very worn out.

I was impressed with the location and facilities...we had a really comfortable sk bed. The kitchenette was great, we could make our coffee on the stove. There was a huge spa bath which we didnt use this time...aircon was qiuet...my only concern was the carpet in the entrance needed a clean, and the illuminated motel sign was very bright outside our room(room 15)but we will definately be back! Thankyou to the lovely staff😊

Good Hotel Opposite the Beach

The Shoreline is quite a big property, just across the road from the walkway and beach, and no more than 10 minutes' walk to the centre of Napier. Our studio was at the back, a big suite, with a huge bed, a jaccuzi, a decent bathroom with a good shower, and a small kitchenette with a small dining table and 3 chairs.

I liked the location close to the beach & close to town shops. Nice walk along marine parade. Room was spacious and had good facilities, spa bath great! Room needs upgrade: carpet stains & wallpaper worn out. Overall enjoyed my stay 😊 will book again in future.
