RENOVATIONS- check for progress before booking
We stayed at Comfort Suites because of their proximity to Atlantis, which was great. The hotel and staff were good. What was horrible was they were under construction. I sat at the pool for 3 days on my holiday and listened to drilling sawing tiles and construction workers. It was absolutely horrible. I recommend calling the hotel before booking to check on their renovations, as the noise at the pool was unbearable. The toilets at the pool were unavailable because of the renovation. The whole experience was so upsetting. I usually do not give bad reviews, but the hotel was definitely not worth the money charged for this inconvenience and upset the hotel should be informing their customers about the renovations at the time of booking and offering a discount during this time if people continue with the booking, in my opinion, its very bad customer service. I only get one holiday a year and it was ruined.

We were made to wait hours, because we were early and because they lost one of our two confirmed reservations. We had rooms next to each other reserved and they ended up splitting us on two different floors! One room had welcome cookies and soda, the other nothing. They did nothing to compensates for all this! The rooms smelled, not well supplied and bath rooms not working well!

Our room was outdated, and stuffy. The water didn’t drain when taking a shower or in the sink when brushing your teeth. The television had a busted speaker and once when the air powered off the television cut off with it.

Everything was great. Yes the rooms are a little outdated but it has everything you need if you’re not picky about what the drawers/bathroom/bedding etc looks like. It’s walkable to many dining places and coffee places like Dunkin donuts and Starbucks. Atlantis water park is free with staying at the comfort suits. The front desk will give you a card for you to bring to the royal tower of Atlantis to access the water park and the grounds. You then will be given a wristband. FYI You need to change your wristband daily at the same counter if you wish to have access to the Atlantis grounds/water park. Another FYI Atlantis is all CASHLESS. You will need a credit card $$. There is daily cleaning at this hotel and they restock your water everyday with the cleaning. The staff very friendly, everyone says hi/good day/ how is your stay etc. They also restock your toiletries,shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion. We had no issues with our water or room. Air conditioner worked great. If you have a problem just tell the front desk and I’m sure they will fix it. FREE BREAKFAST is included which is also a BONUS with this hotel. The service was good as well. Check in and out was effortless. There’s a nice lobby to wait and sit down. They also store your luggage if you have a late flight after checking out. Front desk can call you a cab. Cab rides varies, but there is a sign at the front of the hotel on how much fairs should cost. It cost us $55-$60 one way to/from the airport. We will stay again!

Old rooms. Even When shower was turned on the water jet from faucet was strong aimed at legs. Carpet old , bad odor. Overall room had bad odor. Bed was terribly uncomfortably. Poor , shabby interior. Only positive : the Staff were friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful, couldn’t be better. The room wasn’t in great shape. The bed was uncomfortable, the kind where springs poke you no matter how you position yourself. The air conditioner was super noisy and didn’t cool the room very well. I can’t imagine staying in that room during summer if it couldn’t keep up in November. The breakfast was pretty good and plentiful. Parking was easy. The pool was clean. The construction jackhammers from the work going on in their restaurant made much of the time we spent by the pool unpleasant. Using the Atlantis amenity was not seamless and easy and it wasn’t really explained at Atlantis where we could use it. We used the beach and the water park one day. We also walked along the street east of our hotel to access Cabbage Beach but the weather made it too dangerous to swim there. Overall, I don’t think the savings by booking here were worth the discomfort and 30 minute walks to beach, but that is just us. Adult couple traveling without kids. We had a rental car that allowed us to explore more than just the hotel area, thankfully.

Quick stay
Overall a nice stay. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Arrived early for check-in and was told they would try to expedite getting the room ready but still didn’t have our room ready until just after check in time. Some construction going on but caused minimal disruption. We were only there for a short period and ended up not being able to take advantage of the Atlantis attractions.
