The room floor was dirty. The glasses in the bar area were dirty. The room had a musty smell. It was extremely noisy - the music was so loud you could not communicate with bar staff. The food was mediocre. Not worth an "all inclusive" price, especially when tipping is strongly encouraged. You won't get service otherwise. You'll be ignored.

Loved the Coffee bar and the Lattes, and especially Shaniqua, who served us our Lattes & Cappuccinos. She always had a ready smile and a charming disposition! Most all the staff were very helpful and friendly, with the exception being the maître d at the Steak Restaurant, can't say much for his service.

The resort is a compact design with everything within easy distance and light walking. The staff were lovely and attentive. Excellent and plentiful food choices at every meal. A quick taxi to Nassau for shopping if you like. Lots of beach vendors to book tours or you can go through the reps via travel companies. Very clean. Hotel looks a little tired but it is clean and room is spotless. I would easily recommend to friends and family.

Could not get into the specialty restaurants without making a reservation. Even though it wasn’t full, you still needed a reservation and when you went to make your reservation, it said there were none available for that day. Very disappointing. We love stay at the RIU resorts but not this location.

Read reviews before we arrived & expected problems. Pros- Adults only. All Inclusive. Buffet food selections. Alcohol, minibar, coffee in rooms. Comfortable beds. Roomy ocean view room balconies. Drinks at bars -plentiful & bartenders great. (Bring to go cup. They will make drinks in them instead of the little plastic cups) Staff is happy to help you. Coffee/Desert shop in the lobby. Jerked chicken lunch bar by pool. 5 restaurants on site. (Japanese restaurant excellent - only 1we got reservations) Calipso bar- great & plenty of snacks. Local entertainment- excellent, especially dancers. Hotel & grounds -clean, well kept. Taxis always ready to go to town or wherever. Small Straw Market & shops within walking distance. Cons-Food- good but not kept hot. Spicy food not marked. The hotel is dated, but are working on upgrades. RIU app -not user friendly. Only way you can reserve restaurant is thru app. Can’t reserve that day & only next 2 days. (They don’t tell you this) Biggest problem hotel has & most of complaints. Near impossible to get reservation for restaurants. Most times app - NOT AVAILABLE. 2 pools nice, needed repairs. Games & RIO cash were corny. Internet a problem to log in to play. Banana boat, wave runners, para sail boats were there only a few days. Buffet coffee machine broke mid way thru stay. Not sure how coffee was made in kitchen but not sure it qualified as coffee. I give this hotel stay 3.5 stars out of 5. I would go back knowing what I know now.

We found roaches in our bathroom the first night, the staff are all extremely rude, people harass you all day at the beach to buy things, the blankets smelled bad, there are no toiletries at all, the food is gross and the manager charged me $40 because my girlfriend got her period and “dirtied” one of the wash rags

From the moment I arrived the entire staff were friendly helpful and went above and beyond my expectations. The property was always clean. The food was amazing. Check out the free barbecue at the jerk center. Watch for the birds, they right to your plate. Thank you to Que tee and Ms Linda at front desk. I will be going back 2x at least in 2025
