The Wintergreen Retreat is a vacation rental home within the Wintergreen Resort in Virginia in the prestigious Devil's Knob Loop area. This modern meets rustic elegant mountain getaway is just a few hundred yards from gorgeous scenic overlooks. The house comfortably sleeps 10 - 12 in 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Luxury furnishings throughout and a thoughtful home layout for family entertainment.

Wintergreen Retreat is equipped with a whole-house germicidal UVC air purification and cleansing system. We have also worked closely with our housekeeping team to update our already high cleaning standards and have implemented an enhanced cleaning and disinfecting program.

The house was superior! The house was well stocked with everything we needed to cook, watch football, play pool and hit the slopes. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and updated. In fact the whole house was updated and in superior condition. Beautiful home!

Tyler’s House
We absolutely love this home! This is our 4th time staying and our oldest granddaughter who is 5 thinks it’s her uncle Tyler’s house so that’s what we call it! Some day she’ll learn the truth but for now it’s Tyler’s House. So well equipped and functional warm and cozy! Our favorite time to visit is probably October but would love to be there for a good snow too!

This is our second stay at this beautiful home. Everything about it is perfect. Plenty of room for all of us. The weather was beautiful during the day and cool enough at night that we were able to enjoy that fireplace. And the only thing that kitchen is missing is a chef!! Cleanest, best equipped rental in Wintergreen
Have stayed in multiple units over the years and never had a unit as clean and well equipped as Wintergreen Retreat. Will definitely be trying to rent it on our return trips if it is available. For reference purposes my wife should be the "white glove" Sargent in the Marines for testing dirt, and she is ready to rent again.

Relax in the Mountains
It was great and truly relaxing, we spent most of our time on the deck. It is like a tree house in the midst of the forest. The house was laid out really well. My husband and I had the top floor with the Master Bath which was quiet when we went to bed. The others could stay up as late as they wanted without bothering us. The kitchen was really well equipped, it had everything we needed and more. It was squeaky clean when we arrived. The lower floor was great for my 3 grown Grandsons. The huge TV where we watched movies as a family., the video games and the pool table kept us all busy. We usually gathered there in the evening for games etc. Only one drawback for our family, the twin beds were too small for my 3 grandsons who are 6'3", 6'4"and 6'5".But would be great for younger, smaller kids.They ended up sleeping on the couchs which were quite comfortable. We would definitely rent this place again.

What a lovely, beautiful home! It perfectly suited our needs for 35+ year old close friends and my two young children to catch-up, reminisce, and spend some quality time. All around outstanding experience
We just stayed at the Wintergreen Retreat and can't say enough good things about the cabin, location and host! The cabin was beautiful inside and out, and perfectly described per VRBO. It is located within easy distance to many of Wintergreen's amazing outdoor attractions - we especially enjoyed Lake Monacan and the Shamokin Falls hiking trail. If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxing stay in Wintergreen, you definitely won't be disappointed staying here!

Second Holiday Spent in this Home
Our family had such a lovely time in this beautiful mountain home last Easter that we returned again this year. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing a meal. The beds are comfortable and the large windows fill the space with natural light. We enjoyed nearby hiking, wineries and restaurants. The kids were able to get homework done with the workstation setup and reliable internet. Plenty of games and activities right a the house. Everything was wonderful!
