Great location in Nelson for getting around even without a car. Sister to Tides across the street which has a great restaurant, and downtown and a grocery store less than 5 minute walk( highly recommend Sweet As Cafe and Harry Hawker for sake and sashimi! Reception was friendly and helpful, room was very comfortable and spa tub was excellent! Nice balcony-we were at the front, no great views due to location but comfortable to sit out on. A lot of great garden, nature and river walks close by, and you can walk over to the waterfront. Couldn’t get the TV to screen mirror, but tbf we did not inquire as it wasn’t a big priority for us. Well worth it, hope to be back!

Place was beautiful. My only dislike was a care taker was at my bedroom window/ door cleaning at 8am when i was in bed trying to in joy what i thought was ment to be a private setting area with view of river. So had to shut curtains and felt a little invaded

Always exceeds expectations
I travel to Nelson regularly but don't often stay at this motel as it is almost always booked out. I got lucky this time. I also got upgraded to a suite which was unexpected but really nice. This establishment is always super clean, comfortable and safe. I would definitely recommend booking here if you can
