Samet made our trip memorable. Thanks for such outstanding customer service. In fact all staff were top notch, but Samet surely stood out. Very authentic place, a must experience in a life time. My only regret not staying longer. Baths need a bit of TLC BUT didn’t bother us. Beds were very comfortable and atmosphere was on point.

Great Staff, Old Property
With all the good reviews we paid top dollar to stay here at this hotel for 4 nights. The service was terrific and all the employees were friendly and very helpful (thank you Samet). The property is old, however, and the rooms we received were not great. The bathtub/shower was a challenge to get into, A shortage of electrical outlets made it impossible to turn on the lamp if you also wanted the refrigerator to be on. The TV was the smallest I have seen in a hotel and our view of the city was non-existent. Are hotel was okay, but there appear to be several cave-hotels next to Ascension, hotels that look newer with nicer exteriors. I would really shop around before I booked her again.

Great location. Nice staff! We had a mix up with the rooms and took quite some time to get that sorted. In the end it all worked out and we got to enjoy the place conveniently located in the area where you could have the best view for the balloons.

Probably the Best view in town!
The room we had came with a private balcony (we were told the highest in town). What a great view! The cave room was a unique experience and everything was perfect. Thanks to Samet for all the great help as well!

Enjoyable stay in Cappadoccia
Travelling around Turkey for one month stayed in Cappadoccia for 3 nights wanted to do Air Balloon but all cancelled owing high winds.But Ascension Caves Suites was very comfortable and quiet they arranged tours staff were very friendly and cooperative.Hotel is conveniently located for restaurants and sights.

Terrible Service and Poor Attitude. Beware.
*Arrival* Arrived in the evening to find that the hotel didn't have my booking. I showed them the booking confirmation and the email that THEY sent confirming parking was available days prior. Parking was not available. I had find my own street parking. *Check In* I'd booked a 2 room suite. They acted like it was my fault they didn't have my booking and letting me stay in a single room suite was doing me a favour. I understand things go wrong so the single room was fine, but I confirmed I was only going to pay the rate for the room I stayed in. After 2 nights the room I booked was available, so I moved to that one. The larger room has a floodlight right outside with no switch and no curtains, so the room was lit up all night. The light only turns off at 6am. *Check Out* Upon checking out I informed the receptionist that I stayed 2 nights in a single room, 1 night in the 2-room suite. They tried to charge me the original rate for all 3 nights. I wasn't asking for a discount, only the regular rate for rooms I stayed in. The receptionist was quite stern that he wouldn't do it. Eventually I sternly told him I'm absolutely not paying for the service I didn't receive and threatened to contact Hotels.com. After a call to his boss he reluctantly charged a more reasonable fee, although still slightly higher than it should have been (but not worth arguing over). *General* The hotel was alright. Nothing spectacular, but services work and generally clean. Breakfast disappointing.

Overall loved staying the place. Although it was quite noisy when other guests were talking nonstop loudly and not sure if they can see inside of the room as the room was directly the common terrace. Also you might wanna confirm the pickup time for tours or shuttles as it changes every time you ask. I didn’t see any bad intention but it occurs to me that I looked late as I was given 15mins later time than actual pickup. Still overall the staffs were helpful and the tour company was great, not over priced at all. And great restaurants, breakfast and rooftop terrace!
