I recently stayed at this hotel in Cappadocia for 4 nights and while the location is excellent and convenient, my overall experience was marred by poor service. The hotel is situated in a prime spot, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The "hardware" of the hotel, meaning the rooms and facilities, was acceptable and met my basic needs. However, the service left much to be desired.
Upon check-in, the receptionist seemed more interested in selling tours rather than showing me to my room or familiarizing me with the property. This persistent push for tours felt unprofessional and made for an uncomfortable start to my stay.
One of the more significant issues I encountered was with housekeeping. On one of the days, my room was not cleaned at all. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist (the same one who had been overly eager to sell tours), he refused to arrange for immediate cleaning. This lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to address the issue promptly was highly disappointing.
Overall, while the location and physical aspects of the hotel are decent, the service needs significant improvement. I hope the management takes these feedback points seriously to enhance the guest experience in the future.
