We’ve stayed here several times while visiting family in New Haven. We love the bauhaus design and decor, the comfortable rooms, easy parking and the courteous front desk staff. Also the fact that it is a passive house hotel—totally solar powered.

Perfect!
This was the first hotel on our New England trip and we arrived at 230 in the morning. The clerk was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to go straight to bed upon arrival. Our room was beautiful, modern, clean and quiet!! It was perfect!

We paid Expedia nearly $700 for a very small room at Hotel Marcel in New Haven, CT, where we stayed for 1 night (11/15/2024). Moreover, the hotel's location was far from the center of New Haven and the Yale University campus where we were visiting to attend a special alumni event. Suffice it to say, this booking with Expedia was a rip-off. We tried to contact Expedia to file a complaint, but we were unable to reach anyone at the Expedia phone number to which we were directed. We will never again book any reservation through Expedia.

The hotel was clean and sleek with a lot of "smart" features. The room was big, beds were comfortable. The fitness room was a nice size, complete with everything needed for a good workout. The staff I met were very nice.
