Best Hotel in the French Quarters

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were super friendly and helpful! The resident cats were the final touch of sophistication to the hotel! I will be back next year and stay once again at The Olivier Hotel!

The Hotel Olivier was the perfect choice for our stay in New Orleans. Its best feature is its staff-they were very accommodating, gave tours of the historic building, and wonderful tips to visit. If you want squeaky new hotel with no personality, go somewhere else. Olivier has historic charm and the scratches that go with it. Loved it. We will return.

Olivier House is our favorite hotel in the Quarter. It has been our go to for at least 15 years.Great staff, clean rooms and an amazing complementary coffee station just off the lobby. It is literally half a block off Bourbon St but it's very quiet and serene inside the hotel. My only gripe this trip was that the downstairs area of our room was a little too warm but the loft was cool and pleasant enough to be able to sleep comfortably. Travel date was the last week of July and I just don't think the ac could quite keep up with the stifling heat this time of year. Already planning our next trip to New Orleans

Our stay at the Olivier House Hotel was nothing short of magical! The building itself feels like stepping back in time—beautifully historic, full of character, and with so many charming details that make it truly unique. The location couldn’t be more perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter, yet tucked away enough to feel cozy and peaceful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always warm, friendly, and ready with helpful recommendations. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and full of old-world charm—you can tell so much love and care goes into keeping the hotel special. One of the highlights was simply relaxing in the courtyard and taking in the atmosphere. It felt like a hidden gem where you could unwind after a day of exploring New Orleans. This is a unique property that was once a single family residence. The same family still operates the hotel. The rooms are each unique to themselves. We had a jr suite and lived the architectural details around the whole property. Each staff member was helpful and friendly. Great location in the French Quarter to take in all the sites.
