I’ve stayed at many hotels in the French Quarter but none as awesome as The Olivier Hotel. We are a family of 4, two of which are my older teens. We had the jr suite with 2 full beds and a pull out sofa bed. It was very spacious. The beds and pillows were so comfy. My favorite part was the balcony with a panoramic view of New Orleans. The staff was super friendly and checkin was a breeze. We all loved the 3 cats walking around which made us feel at home. The common areas were so beautiful and so very French quarter. Also, did I say that they had a pool? We will definitely not stay anywhere else. (Unless we have to) ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We picked the hotel because it was close and walkable to all the places we wanted to see. The staff were all great, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the eclectic hotel, lots of charm! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We love staying at Olivier House! 2 minute walk to Bourbon, drive-up/valet parking, and each room is unique. The staff are always courteous, and there's always water, coffee, snacks etc downstairs. The free roaming kitties are a bonus. 😎

Only a half block off of Bourbon Street, in the middle of the French Quarter. This beautiful and historic hotel is in the perfect location.

This is the first time that I stayed at the Olivier house, and I was very impressed. I’ve walked by this place hundreds of times over the years, so it was a pleasant find. The location is excellent to access all of the French Quarter. The staff is super nice and very welcoming. The valet parking was a good deal at $35 a night for the French Quarter. We stayed in the presidential suite which had a balcony at least 40 ft long on Toulouse Street. The room was fashioned with beautiful antiques, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Maid service was also excellent. Right off the lobby was a large common area that had coffee, bottled water, and snacks 24 hours a day free to all guests. I did not get a chance to use the pool, but it was very beautiful area. I guess my only issue, was there was quite a bit of street noise, but I knew that when I booked an area with the balcony facing the street. Next time I would probably take a room facing the courtyard I will definitely go back to this wonderful hotel.

Install small shelf in shower area. For soap and shampoo. But change nothing else. It’s perfect the way it is. On occasion, the front desk clerk is not at the check in desk. I witnessed guests waiting 20 minutes to get checked in.

The Olivier House was so beautiful and had a great homey atmosphere too. Our room was in the first floor and had was very nice and cleanly. We were right by the pool, which was awesome! Everything was within walking distance from the hotel and we saw and did so many things during our four day stay. They let us check out late since our flight didn’t leave until Sunday night and that was a plus! Thank you for a great stay and we will be coming back to stay again.

I loved the history and quirkiness of the hotel with all its stairways, hallways, courtyard spaces, brick interior walls, woodwork, and furnishings. Your cookie-cutter hotel it is NOT and thank goodness for that! My room was spacious, the bed comfy, the shower HUGE, and we even had a delightful balcony. We were encouraged to wander the facilities, and I loved all the nooks and crannies and shared spaces on the first floor, including a nice coffee/tea bar with everything you needed including bottled water and cookies. The hotel cats were lounging about in the reception area and happy to be petted. The location cannot be beat - steps away from Bourbon Street but not so close you could hear the noise. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone unless big-box hotels are your thing.
