Great French Quarter location. One block from Bourbon St but we didn’t find it too loud as long as your room is not on the street side. There are interior rooms facing the courtyards that are quieter. So much character and history to this hotel. We loved it!
This place was very charming and I loved the room we stayed in. The location is great!!!
The only thing was the shower’s water pressure. It was very low so just be ready to spend a little more time in the shower if you have long hair. Complimentary water, coffee, snacks were nice! The cats in the lobby and the lounge area are cute :)
We loved the hotel!!! They have 3 resident cats too that just chill. The hotel is beautiful and maintained so well! I wish we had seen the air conditioner because it was hot!!! The petite loft 2 was absolutely gorgeous! The shower was amazing! It did smell very musty though which was off putting. The whole hotel is a must see!! I recommend it! But use the air conditioner

Not the best stay
I stayed in a room in the front of the hotel. There were loud noises that constantly woke us up. I would suggest a room in the back of the hotel if you wish to stay there. The bathroom had zero toiletries. Not even a bar of soap. Soap was provided on request. The shower curtain was mildewed causing the bathroom to smell. Also the tub did not drain well after taking a shower.
The location itself is quaint for the quarter. They did have complimentary water bottles and coffee in the lobby area.
Wonderful, quaint boutique hotel in the middle of the French Quarter. Fantastic staff. Second time I have stayed there. It is now my preferred destination in the French Quarter.
When viewing most hotels online the pictures always make the property look better than in person. While the photos on Hotels.com were appealing they do not do this hotel justice. It was absolutely amazing! All the best NOLA vibes!
It is perfectly situated in the French Quarter. Easy walk to most places. Old building, atmospheric old funky furniture. Staff very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for modern, generic, this is NOT the place. But if you enjoy something unique. This is the place
We stayed here after being at the Marriot and would have preferred to be here the whole time. Staff were helpful and friendly, it’s a great old house with so much character and the cats made you feel at home and not like a tourist. We will definitely return!
Second time staying The Olivier House Hotel (same room as well) and I love it! The feel is perfect, has all the amenities, and close to everything.
Staff is welcoming and helpfull and loved the cats:)
Will always stay at The Olivier House Hotel every chance I get.
This a great example of a historic boutique hotel. Each room is different and only the bathroom amenities and windows have been modernized. It is a confusing hodge-podge of rooms and corridors to find the tiny elevator and your room. The WiFi and TV were great. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and the location less than a block from Bourbon Street and a short walk to Jackson Square can't be beat. Just make sure that, unlike us, you don't come for the weekend when Taylor Swift is performing 3 shows in the Superdome. The prices were sky-high (at all hotels) and the attractions and restaurants were extremely busy.
