Great hotel. Horrible receptionist. Apparently, management gets many complaints from Shorty the night receptionist. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with him as well. Rude, not helpful, not knowledgeable. We were angry & almost in tears at his behavior. Thank goodness Lisa the day receptionist, was quite the opposite. She even apologized many times for her co workers bad behavior. Hotel was clean, quiet, & decent parking. Our room had refrigerator & microwave. Everything in our room worked & lots of towels. Yes, I recommend this hotel, but stay away from Shorty.

The first night, we had to switch rooms because the bathroom door lock didn’t work, and there was no hot water the entire first day for all rooms. The AC unit didn’t cool properly, and housekeeping only cleans every third day—leaving our room partially cleaned on the sixth night with unmade beds. Breakfast was subpar, with overcooked eggs, flaky potatoes, and stale pastries. While the front desk staff were courteous and welcoming, the overall experience fell short of expectations.

Staff was very nice. Hotel seemed new. Our room could have been cleaner, but I have high standards there. I don’t like feeling dirt on my feet & the floor was very dirty in that manner. My 2 big gripes was no hot water and the room wouldn’t stay warm. The first 2 days the water just got barely warm. The 3rd day it wouldn’t get warm at all. Day 4 we just didn’t shower because it wouldn’t get warm. Staff very nice but clueless. I’m assuming maintenance wasn’t on site due to it being Christmas eve. The air unit drove us crazy. Constantly ran, even if you had it set to off. Blew cold air while set to warm & was so loud. Just constant loud.
