The music playing in the lobby sounds uninviting because of the constant crackling sound in the speakers. This lasted the entire time we were there. 3 nights. Otherwise, the location was convenient, room was comfortable and clean.

The greeting from the front desk was luke warm at best. The rooms are very run down - rusty shower heads, markings on the white towels, not sure the phone had ever been cleaned, headboards scuffed up and gross. Nobody ever answered the phone in housekeeping or the front desk to assist with down-free pillows due to allergies (this was requested in advance but not fulfilled). So we had to go down and get them ourselves. They gave us two allergy-free pillows. For four people. The other two people used our clothing as pillows. Ice machine was broken. Walls are thin and guests next door kept trying to come in the shared room door. I could go on and on. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We were in town for a girls weekend and it was great. Not super fancy but clean and rooms are pretty spacious for NYC. Front desk staff were all great. Only negative was the water pressure was pretty weak.

Housekeeping only comes once every three days. If I had known that, I wouldn't have booked here. All the Cambria hotels I've stayed at have housekeeping on demand. We ordered a lot of late-night DoorDash, and our only options were to keep the trash in the room or leave it in the hallway. Both were bad choices.

The property is very basic. The bathroom was tiny with zero space on the vanity. Beds are comfortable, but staff is nice and accommodating, but it was bare minimum. I not sure why the reviews are so good. I will not book again. The pro is location. A few blocks from Herald Square and Flatiron.

Lack of housekeeping
Great location but housekeeping being done every 3 nights is a deal breaker. The bathroom is way too cramped with little to no space to put anything that it needs to at least be cleaned more often. Also, asked for new towels but never got them. Last straw is them coming in to change the AC unit while we were out and never telling us until we asked why AC unit looked different from how we remember it during the first day. If it must be done, fine, but at least do the basic courtesy of informing/asking the people staying in the room.
