This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable, with a simple tablet that controls everything! Hello, after coming back to our room from a day of walking, we came into the lower lobby. There were three gentlemen working around the bar area. All of them had hotel name tags. I went to pick a water and snacks to purchase. After coming around to make the purchase the three gentleman were talking amongst themselves. We waited for about two or three minutes at the register. I finally asked out load “ is this the section where I purchase the waters? One of the gentleman said” yes come to this register” Which is as across the bar. Different experience in the morning crew, I came down to get coffee and they were extremely helpful and kind. I hope this helps. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at CitizenM Times Square. The location was really convenient for both walking and subway access, including a direct subway to the AirTrain (although lots of stairs to carry luggage!). The hotel itself was clean and welcoming, the rooms were very bright and had lots of storage, and were well designed. The shower was good, and all felt very clean. The hotel lobby area was also nice and chill, and they stored our luggage for free. Only areas for improvement: (1) The lifts are very slow! I think they're operating with 2 rather than 3 atm, but often had to wait up to 3/4 mins for a lift. (2) You can hear some noise from the streets (we were on floor 6). I didn't think this was too bad, especially given the location, but be aware if you're a light sleeper. The noise from the corridor is also quite loud (we were by the lifts). (3) The toilet door could be soundproofed or fitted with a better seal, as it didn't completely close. I was staying with a friend, so we played music to drown out the sounds, but this could definitely be improved by the hotel. (4) You can't link Spotify to the TV, only streaming services. Overall, would highly recommend and return on a trip to NYC!
