Staff … amazing! Location …. amazing! Food and drink options available in hotel … amazing! The room needs so attention. iPad used to control lights, tv, etc… cracked display. Bathroom door would not close and in a small space, this became an annoyance. Shower head was broken or had so much hard water build up so water sprayed inconveniently. For a hotel not in Times Square charging you Time Square rates, these items may want to be addressed. We have stayed in many CitizensMs in several countries. Hopefully this is not the norm now that you have been purchased by Marriott.

Very trendy. We loved the vibe. Rooms were clean and comfy. Great access to subway to and from laguardia and JFK. great dining options in hells kitchen just 15 minutes walking.

The hotel was very nice and cozy. We did not eat at the breakfast but the bar was nice. The decor was very unique and nice. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of the hotel.

My stay was perfect! The hotel is so close to a subway station as well as Time Square and other very fun activities. The staff were very friendly and helped out whenever needed. I would 100% stay here again everything was clean as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit New York.

We stayed at the Citizen M for a few days after the New Year. I loved the dark, cozy vibe. The room was cozy and my daughter and I loved the lighting options :P We were on the 17th floor and could see the view of the upper (lower?) end of Times Square. After a verrrryyyy long day of walking the bar staff greeted us with such warmth and eased a bit of our fatigue with a coffee and cocktail! The staff were all so helpful and accomodating. On another trip to NYC I'm not sure I'd stay in Times Square again due to the people congestion but it was great being close to so many landmarks and shopping!
