I'll start with the good. The room was very clean, with newer contemporary furnishings and the expected room amenities like a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, Smart TV, etc. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
Now for the not so good. The description on Expedia of this hotel having a restaurant and bar is misleading. We ate at the 'Bistro,' as the hotel calls it, on our first night there and were not at all impressed with the service or the food. We had burgers that tasted more like mystery meat, and I could swear they were cooked in a microwave.
The 'bar' had very limited drink options, and the person working there seemed very uninterested in actually working. He pretty much stayed in the back room until he'd hear patrons at the bar. Then he'd come out and unenthusiastically do his job.
Add to that, the Bistro only serves breakfast and dinner, and they close earlier than most restaurants. So if you're late-nighters like we sometimes are, just plan on ordering out instead.
