The hotel is close to where we’d like to go and reasonably priced for the holiday time. However, our first room was not in working condition. The sink draining was very slow. What makes us have to move in late night was that the heating system wasn’t working and night was getting colder. Our second room doesn’t have the two problems but later we realized that the subway was probably right beneath us as now and then we felt the rumblings of the trains pulling into the station. We were too tired to request another move.

In room coffee machine did not work, was not replaced and we were told we just didn’t know how to use it. However it appeared to us that no one even checked it. Some hairs and tooth paste on the walls in bathroom. Some of the front desk people were very nice.

Breakfast was good, room was clean and bath was spacious. Ice machine on our floor did not work. Parking is a problem locally. And of course the NY hotel taxes are outrageous. The hotel can’t help that. Good place to stay for our needs.

Really lovely hotel, in a great location, within walking distance to major subway lines straight into Manhattan. Really good clean gym with a lot of equipment. Would definitely stay there again
