At check-in, we were informed that our room was unavailable. They downgraded us to a room with bunk beds, which was terrible. It was small, dark, and incredibly cramped. I complained, and they “found” us a room that was more like the one we had reserved. However, the paint was peeling off the walls, and the heater didn’t work. The building only has four elevators, so it took about five to eight tries to get on one, which meant a wait of about 10-15 minutes. I strongly advise against this hotel.

The staff was great and really helpful all the time. The condition of the property is not the best we are changed from 3 different rooms by the same problem the A/C didn't work and the problem was necer solve the last room the A/ C didn't regulate the temperature and we are on an 9th floor and you can hear all the noise form theaters and street all night.

Staff are great but only two of the four elevators actually worked our entire stay and even they kinda didnt. Had to repeatedly try to read the room keys to select the floor and half the time when it finally took my floor it cleared out the other ones already lit. Two of the days there the elevators wouldnt even acknowledge we pressed to go down unless we pressed for up and down. That annoys alone is enough I wouldnt book here again. No one single time did they work properly.

There was no heat, apparently it was not even on, had i not gone to front desk to request they fix it, we would have been freezing and wondering why it is not working. The plugs did not work, we were not able to charge our cellphones, the front desk suggested we charge them downstairs near the reception. We tried before leaving the night before leaving it was still not working and we left with phones not charged and barely sufficient power to call a taxi to continue our way to the airport. Le Parisien Bakery in the hotel was overpriced and far from being parisian, the cherry danish purchased seemed stale and store bought far from anything freshly baked, terrible for almost nine dollars US and the employee asked us to leave, when we tried to sit in front of the cafe to take a photo, shameful attitude towards tourists

Our AC fan was broken, we got help from maintenance who determined it could not be fixed quickly. We were given a new room- a little bigger- immediately! We were pleased with the staff and there was a lovely French bakery downstairs 💗
