Park Central Hotel was exactly as advertised and as we expected. Staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby was spacious, clean and comfortable, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had a courtyard view (so a brick wall) but that was fine because it was quiet. The best feature of this hotel is its excellent location - close to everything touristy, and steps from 57th & 7th subway stop. Would stay here again!

Great hotel excellent position.
Great hotel, excellent position just above Times Square and just a short walk to Central Park. Fast and easy check in and out. Staff very helpful and friendly. It was it first visit to NY and thought the position was perfect. Felt very safe in this area.

The room was average, needs to be updated. Not bad for the price I guess. The toilet paper roll was broken, bathroom fan did not work. The plugs in the bathroom were problematic. The bed was very comfortable. I was on the 5th floor, noise wasn’t an issue at all. Location was amazing. Very close to all subways and a couple blocks from Central Park! Location was worth staying at this hotel.

Overall this is nice hotel with an awesome staff. It’s condition is a reflection of its age, with small, slow elevators the most common complaint during our stay. The bathrooms are small but clean and poor ventilation causes steam from the shower to permeate the rooms, causing a very humid and musty environment. The old style air conditioning unit in our room struggled to keep the temperature tolerable during our August visit. We rated the hotel very highly because of the people who staff it. From the Management all the way to the housekeeping staff, we did not interact with anyone who had a problem attitude. A weather system caused our return flight to be cancelled and the front desk staff and management were extremely helpful arranging two additional nights stay for us while we waited on another flight. Convenience is huge plus too, and many attractions are within easy walking distance. In spite of the age related conditions of Park Central, we highly recommend a stay there because of the proximity to attractions and the exemplary employees who do their very best to provide top notch customer service. We would definitely stay at Park Central again.

From the time I checked into this hotel (early) they were amazing! Quick easy check in process and into my room so I could leave my belongings and explore right away! This was a very lovely convenient hotel close to everything I needed to be close to!

The property had a bar located inside. Picture perfect scenery. The bell man where the best, they made sure our belongings were safe on arrival to the property. They made my Daughters Sweet Sixteen in New York City the best. The Bell man again gave exceptional service when getting a taxi or Uber. Will plan to stay at Park Central Hotel if we return to New York City for sure.

Excellent location for midtown Manhattan
We had an excellent time staying here. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived but we were immediately offered free breakfast from the hotel cafe for each morning we were there and the local resort fee of $38 per night was also waived - this must have saved us close to $250! The rooms are comfortable and well sized with all the usual features. The location is excellent with the south side of Central park a 3 minute walk. We also walked along Broadway to times square, the Rockefeller center, NY public library and Grand Central Station. It is an easy subway ride to the WTC and Staten island ferry. I was pleased that the $500 dollar deposit we had to pay on check in was back on my card within 2 days of checking out. We would definitely use this hotel as well.

Hotel is in great location. I stayed before 7 years ago and was happy to return. It has deteriorated since then with no redecoration. The room was quite dirty in places and generally tatty. I probably would go again.
