My Little Gem!
I've stayed at The Jewel more than once. It's one of my favorites. The location, location, location ... it's perfect for me. It's between 5th and 6th at 51st. It's Close to a lot (Rockefeller Center & St. Patricks Cathedral across the street and convenient for walking. I will stay there again on my next visit to NYC. The people are nice, too.

Super convenient location and very friendly staff but carpets were old, dirty and smelled like dog poop. Otherwise, rooms were cleaned and bedding clean and comfy.

My fiance and I really enjoyed our stay at The Jewel hotel, the location is so close to everything and you can walk to most places. It's right across the Rockefeller center, Fifth avenue, St. Patrick's Cathedral and about 10 min to Time square and central park. The staff were very nice and kind. The only think you want to be mindful of is that it could get loud since it's in a busy area but by the end of the night we were so tired from walking that we had no problem falling asleep even with the noise.

Great location!
We loved The Jewel! The location was perfect for our Christmas Eve stay. We were a block away from The Radio City Music Hall, and all the other places that we had to go, not to mention that we were right by the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.🎄 Our room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. Parking was convenient too. The staff members were amazing and friendly! Very grateful for everyone that works during the Holidays so we can have a great time with our family.

Location is great if you're traveling for leisure. It is in a busy area, especially around the holiday season, so be mindful of that if you need quiet time overnight. Room was nice and clean when I checked in, but they never cleaned it while I was there and I was there for 4 days/3 nights. I requested someone to clean it, but they never did.

People were very nice but the property itself was a bit of a letdown. The location is very convenient to local attractions but I was supprised to see that I had to take an elevator to a different floor to get a bottle of water, rooms were not cleaned daily, and the furnishings were quite dated. Given the competition around, I would probably not return unless it was exceptionally cheaper.

In the hearth of mid manhattan . Right in Rockefeller center . 100 yards from 5th Ave . 2 blocks from Times Square walk to Central Park , Saks and all the shops you really want to visit . Subway station 2 to 3 block depending g of where you want to go and the entire island of manhattan is within 25 minutes ride … the price is …. Dry reasonable considering it’s NYC we have been there several times and we chose this hotel every time
