A beautiful house owned and run by beautiful people. Whats not like about this beautiful home. I stayed here over night on my regular work trip. First of many I hope. Tony and Chris are such a lovely, friendly couple. The house is a labour of love as Tony said, and anyone staying here should feel humbled and privileged for Tony and Chris to welcome you into their home. The pictures do not do the house justice although gives you a very good idea of what to expect. Seeing the house in person and feeling the history, warmth and love they have and are putting into it leaves you feeling in ore and I’m also quite jealous of what they have achieved. The bed, bedding, decor, tea & coffee making facilities all were better than some high end hotels I have stayed in over the years.
One word to sum up my stay… Perfect
This was a wonderful place to stay. It was warm, hosts were Soooo inviting, nothing was too much. The decor is well thought out, you want for nothing! The hosts have considered everything!!! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the rooms are quiet! We will be back! Thankyou!!
My room was beautiful, the decor was amazing. The bed was comfortable, I had a very good night’s sleep. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and provided excellent service. I will definitely stay there again.
Very warm welcome, fascinating house and well appointed bedroom, with a very comfortable bed. Hosts were knowledgable about the local area with suggestions of where to eat and places to visit. Really couldn’t have felt more at home
Great hosts who were very friendly and informative. stayed 1 night in this beautiful old building full of character.
Bedroom lovely bed very comfy with a beautiful shared bathroom ..luckily we were the only guests so had it to ourselves.
Would have preferred a lock on our bedroom door especially if the other rooms had been full.
A group of us booked the three rooms for 2 nights. What a beautiful place, the eye for detail is stunning. Full of character and charm. Your hosts were great, welcoming and friendly plus 3 cute dogs.

Very comfortable overnight stay in this lovely old house. The hosts Tony and Chris were very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. The village of Newcastle Emlyn has some fascinating shops and the Bunch of Grapes pub serves good food. There are plenty other eating places too.
The host Tony and Chris are so amazing and extremely nice(: Their property is also absolutely beautiful. Truly a pleasure staying there and would do so again in a heart beat!
A beautiful and historical Welsh house set in fabulous and friendly New Castle Emlyn has a massive welcome. Its hosts Tony and Chris offer their home with pride and aplomb. The Green and Blue rooms in which we stayed are sumptuous and gorgeous. The landscaped gardens are a work in progress and we can’t wait to see them next time. Ardderchog!
It was an absolute delight to meet Tony and Chris and spend a night in their beautiful home. The room was exquisite and the bathroom was a joy. Every detail had been thought about for our comfort. The bed was amazing to sleep on, so comfortable. Thanks again.
Excellent stay with Chris and Tony. Lovely place just round the corner from the centre of Newcastle Emlyn. Room was spacious and had everything you needed. Would definitely come back
What a fab find. Stayed in the grand room - what a stunning room and divine bathroom. The communal spaces are also stunning. Lots of amenities, perfect breakfast hamper and the comfiest night sleep I’ve had in an age. To top it off - super friendly and attentive hosts. Tony was so welcoming and great communication from the point of booking. If you’re looking for a stylish place to stay where you’ll feel truly welcome … this is it. Looking forward to next time :)
