The friendly and helpful staff made a lesser enjoyable stay more bearable. Breakfast had many choices, but was one mass stampede, with people phycically pushing you out of the way to access the food, piling plates high with food, placed in the middle of their tables, then wasting most of it. Crockery was broken in some of the frenzies, and it was ugly. The mini bar turned out to be an electric cooler, which held the contents at a lukewarm temperature, though with a home made ice bucket, the bar staff on the top floor were very obliging at filling it each day. It soon melted, however.
After 7 nights with no clean sheets, we finally stripped the bed ourselves, and scored clean sheets. The balcony itself is not for the fainthearted, and the window and balcony are both only feet away from the windows of the next hotels, so they have full view of you, and vice versa.
