We stayed for only 1 night. Check in was good, the person who helped me was friendly and informative. I just wish she would have ironed her shirt, it was pretty wrinkled. The property was clean and well kept. What is needed is better pillows.

The staff interactions we had were all very good. I think I spoke to a ‘Scott’? Ahead of our arrival and he was very helpful. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff do a great job of providing delicious options and keeping everything stocked. My main complaint is the condition of the hotel. For being “recently renovated”, it is still in rough shape. Our room was okay, but the shower looked like it needed a deep clean and the door almost came off when moving it. Plus, our toilet paper holder was hanging on by a thread. We travelled with our kids, who obviously wanted to use the pool. This area was also very neglected cleanliness wise. The floors were yucky and there was a visible scum line along the entire upper length of the pool. The rates were very high for such things to not be addressed.

Well, when I arrived to check in, the lady's attitude was very rude, she had a bad attitude. I really regret staying at this hotel because I felt cheated because they never said they charged for additional parking, $30 per day. Also, the breakfast on the two days I stayed was not enough and I had to wait for them to make more and when I wanted to have breakfast, the others had already finished. I really would not return to this hotel 😔

I have booked 2 queen bed sofa bed room that would sleep 5 people (3 adults & 2 kids). I was expecting the sofa bed wouldn't be at a level of regular queen bed, but expected that it would be at least comparable to other hotels & Inns I have stayed in. Recently I stayed in Ottawa at Business Inn - very similar setting to Fairfield with 2 Queen Beds & Sofa Bed and a kitchenette at much lower price than Fairfield. Anyway, I had a horrendous night, the sofa bed had no cushion/spring and the mattress was rather flat. I still have back pain from the sofa bed. Anyway, when I complained to the staff, the manager of housekeeping tried out the sofa bed and said "that's how sofa bed is, it's better than the one I slept in for 4 years!" I don't think I am being overly demanding about the sofa bed. My suggestion, no one should be sleeping in that sofa bed, and the hotel shouldn't advertise the room as a family room which can sleep 5 people. I was extremely unhappy with the solution the desk staff provided me with.

Liked it, great view of the Niagra falls, breakfast was great just a bit chaotic. Parking was not free and far but they had shuttles. Overall not a bad experience.
