As a Solo traveler, would never stay there again. Stay one staff person the whole time, the person on the desk who was having a long conversation with someone else. She said there was security in the dimly lit parking lot, but I never saw anyone. Also, one or two guests in the lobby, didn't see anyone in the lounge or bar that was supposed to be open. The drawers in my room didn't close and the shower curtain was too small. I got there after dark and came back the next day after dark, hard to find my way in and to the lobby-which is actually on the second floor up an incline that isn't obvious. Due to some road construction, went around the property twice before I could find one of the two entrances, the light was so dim. The area felt unsafe, would not walk around at night.

Disappointing Stay During a Special Occasion I had high hopes for my stay based on the hotel’s reviews, especially since I was celebrating my 10-year anniversary with my wife. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations, and I didn’t make the best impression on her due to the issues we encountered. One of the most concerning problems was the overwhelming presence of marijuana usage both inside and outside the hotel. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere, which wasn’t ideal for such a special occasion. We were hoping for a more relaxing and welcoming environment, but that wasn’t the case. Additionally, the TV in our room was very limited. It only worked if we watched on-demand content, and live TV, including news channels, wasn’t available. With a storm approaching, we wanted to stay informed about the weather, but the lack of access to live television made that impossible, adding to the frustration. To top it off, the hotel seemed to be undergoing renovations, which was not communicated beforehand. While renovations are understandable, the execution left much to be desired. There were visible patches of plaster covering holes, and electrical wires were hanging from the ceiling. This gave the hotel a very unfinished and unappealing look, which didn’t contribute to the romantic experience we had hoped for. While the staff was polite, the overall experience left much to be desired, especially considering the significance of our stay.

The hotel needs some renovations. I can hear the people next to us talking as if they were in our room. The doors have an inch gap from the floor where you can see light through it. The sheets had slight stains on them. The elevators were hot and muggy, it also sounded like it, needed some maintenance. The ramp to parking needs to be wider. The hotel decorations were not welcoming, it needs a new design. Although, the staff was nice, We will not stay here again. Thank you.

We have stayed here several times and it is a very convenient location for our purposes. The property is generally able to present a reasonably priced block of rooms on short notice for our team, and is close to a lot of excellent food options. Don't expect to love the hotel maintenance standard (only 1 elevator currently in service, several of the team reported water/plumbing problems, etc) We also recommend not leaving anything in the car if you are self parking.
