It was very nice. Very clean and plenty of room.
Perfect for a weekend getaway. Also close enough to Tuscaloosa to go to University of Alabama sporting events.

Quiet Rural Escape Near Tuscaloosa
The location is very secluded. It is about an hour outside of Tuscaloosa along a windy, hilly road in a natural area. There are no stores nearby so plan accordingly and it is off a small dirt road with the sign set off the road marking the turn. Some of my guests had issues finding it in the dark because GPS is spotty and there is not great cell service in the area, but we had no issues finding our way in the daytime. The house is a "barndominium" style with a big eat in kitchen and living space, large master with bathroom, guest bathroom and second bedroom with 2 queen-size bunk beds and a twin bed. Very comfortable, serene, and clean -- it seemed brand new. The host had everything we needed to feel at home while we were there. We loved the big front porch with the rocking chairs. If you are not a fan of hunting, the many mounted animals on the walls can be off-putting. Wifi was fine in the house but there is no service for many miles beyond the house. All in all, this place worked out great for our graduation gathering with family. We are grateful to our host and would gladly stay there again.
